Question

Posted (edited)

Hi.

I'm trying to merge Relationship Dialogue Overhaul and the patches that it comes with as it's said in this Guide but after i create the merge and check for errors it says that i have non-contiguous mods and it won't even let me to ignore this issue.

Any way to solve this issue ?

Non contiguous mods means that the mods as they are in your load order are not directly placed one after the other, thus it's giving you that error, you'll likely have to place the mods together in this manner to proceed further.

I run LOOT, then put all mods I am merging last in the load order, check everything in xEdit to make sure no info will get lost (some merges might need a quick patch at the end which you include in the merge), then open Merge Plugins and merge away.

LOOT again, rinse, repeat.

I know this is an older topic, but I found it via Google search. @Nebulous112, I'm curious if you can expand on checking everything in xEdit to make sure things won't get lost and then creating a patch (which I assume is needed if it looks like something will get lost). I've been using the "check for errors" in Merge Plugins Standalone, but nothing in xEdit prior, so I'm wondering if I'm missing a step that could cause issues down the line.
