Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Lots of users reporting issues with Race Menu v1.4.1 and the latest SKSE version(s). Did you notice missing sliders in your testing last night? Folks are reverting back to v1.3.4 until Expired makes an update. I'll hop in later and see if it's widespread or just affecting

some folks.

Haha...it appears he just fixed the issues and released v1.4.2 as I typed that post here.

Already updated both SKSE and RaceMenu... :) Problem should be fixed. Did it while you were typing that.

Hmmm I only filtered " *_n.dds ". Guess there is no point in optimizing the _msn files as well as long as the game runs stable.

Oh well tonight is ENB night! And then hopefully actually test run the game up until the first dragon fight!

Oh yes and btw a typo in you GDO fix here (The last one before saving.)

Expand "Dialog Topic">"0A00C497" and select the "000D5EC0" node.

It should be: Expand "Dialog Topic">"0B00C497" and select the "000D5EC0" node.

I'll check this tonight.

i'd hold off on optimizing ENBs until you get a lighting and weather solution in place first.  As much as I like Skyrealism cinematic, it does make RLO shadows a little too dark and I find myself squinting at the monitor.  They're both correcting the same mistake(s) essentially.

I thus prefer skyrealism vanilla and tweaking things myself a bit.

And yea Vurt has removed the add new scots pine file, so I will hold off on updating it until whatever he has in store comes next.

Man, I just added the Scots pine file. Hope there isn't anything breaking in it.

I am getting some strange artifacting in Riverwood - specifically above Riverwood Trader. The entire upper part of the building is translucent. All I did was update my SMIM, add Scots pines, and removed GetSnowy.

I don't see how those mods would affect that... weird. Only possible is SMIM... try reinstall.

Read about this on the Bethesda forums about the latest version of SKSE, might be something worth adding to the SKSE INI tweaks section.

- add console command ClearvalidRegistrations to remove invalid OnUpdate() registrations

This prevents orphaned OnUpdate() events and the resulting bloated/broken saves when removing certain mods.

When applied to an already bloated save, it will stop growing further and instead shrink over time

as the game processes all queued events. This may take hours depending on the amount of bloat.

To execute automatically after each reload, add this to \Data\SKSE\skse.ini:

[General]

ClearvalidRegistrations=1

Ok, so just to confirm that I'm not crazy...

Trying to update 'No More Ugly Bronze Shine' the file says 1.3 on the nexus. Yet the download name comes out as 1.2a. And then of course when it downloads it shows 1.3. So would that mean that he updated the file structure but just named the file incorrectly?

EDIT: - meant MO shows 1.3 when it installs lol

Gotta love the nexus file server...
