Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Long time no see Neo.

I have come back and gone through and updated my install to current, however my Skyproc Unified Manager isn't seeing any of the other skyproc patchers for its list. I noticed this happening the last time I played when I had to put all of Automatic Variants' submods under one name in order for it to see the packages. I'm not even sure that worked. Any ideas that could be causing the issue?

Windows permissions maybe? Try the SUM readme, he has a lot of possible problems/fixes in there.

Skyrim Immersive Creatures won't install for some reason... It only installs DOCS folder, and ignores the BSA. Anyone knows the reason for that? I am using ESP version with DLC.

::EDIT::

Ignore that, I think that the archive was corrupted. Redownloading now.

::EDIT2::

Manual repackage did the trick...

TLW, welcome back.

The issue is Wolverine's folder naming. You have to shorten his folder, once the structure is fully written out with all of the sub folders it is longer than the Windows max and it silently errors out and hangs. Just rename Wolverine's long ass folder name to "Wolverines AV Ports", then it'll work as intended.

I install, and I know Neo does this as well, all AV variants (Belly, Grace, Insanity, Soun, StarX, etc.) into a merge with the main Automatic Variants. It handles the necessary folder structure well by putting them all under AV Packages. Easier than having 7 seperate folders that get moved off to overwrite/textures anyway by SkyProc.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Solist, its great to be back.

So I went ahead and shortended Wolverine's package name to Wolverine's AV Ports. I already have all the AV variants merged with the main AV. Still not getting anything in the list when running the SUM program. I haven't found anything useful in the txt files, but I'm going to reread them to make sure I didn't miss anything, since I can tend to miss simple things sometimes.

I think I'm going to try to reinstall everything merged into the SUM mod, since AV's structure works best when merged. That is if I don't find anything useful in the txt files.

EDIT: So installing all of them under the same mod worked perfect, except for one error I get during the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.

skyproc.exceptions.MissingMaster:

Dual Sheath Redux.esp has some missing masters:

- Skyrim.esm

- Update.esm

Hmm...not familiar with that error, that might be something Neovalen could speak to. Glad the other solutions worked though!

The certainly is odd... obviously the masters are not missing! lol Try again? I really don't have any ideas... maybe ask Leviathan about it (author of SkyProc)... I hear this has been happening a lot with the latest code.

@Neovalen - speaking of SkyProc, with the inclusion now of Skyrim Immersive Creatures, is it recommended again to create a bashed patch to manage the leveled list changes he makes, or still an unnecessary step if running standard SR?

Thanks!

Neo thinks it's still unnecessary. But I hear that WilliamImms has updated BOSS to show delev and relev tags for T&B - so I guess it will work now.

I'm not sure but it looks like WB may be ahving an issue with RND too - some of it's changes seem to be dropped in the Bashed Patch.

Since I'm trying to use High Level enemies (scaled version) with SIC I would like to use one - I think...

One other question in regards to the new SkyProc. When selecting the Merge Patches option it throws that warning about only using with a new save game, as all references to seperate patches will be broken. Should this be a major concern or can we ignore it?

Hi all,

I'm a little confused about SUM and the merged patch feature. After the patch and merged patch are generated I can see all the patch in MO selected.

So I'm wondering what's the point of having a merged patch if it needs the originals patches to work... or is it just the default behavior of SUM to select them and it forget to unselected them after it generated the SUM.esp?

I deselected all the patch and keep the SUM.esp and everything seemed to work fine, so I guess that's the intended behavior. Anyway maybe a little clarification in the wiki should be added.

I get this exact same error.  I also got it prior to trying to use SUM.  I've asked around and read all the readmes and nothing seems to address it...

I had the same issue and resolved it the same way. A note to deselect the  AV and DSR ESPs and select the SUM ESP would clarify things.
