Various Solid Colored Blocks and Shapes in Textures after Applying STEP Core

Hello,

 

I am seeing various solid colored blocks and shapes, e.g., rectangles, arrows, etc., after applying STEP Core. I have just launched a new game and see these colored blocked as the intro video starts. Please help.

 

I have followed STEP Core line-by-line.

If these solid colored thingies are blue or black, it means you are missing some textures. Right click Archives in the right pane and make sure all of the BSA files are checked. If this doesn't solve the problem, make sure all the mods in the left pane are checked and in the correct order.

Thank you Greg. They are not just blue or black. I can also see solid arrows in the clouds. 

I have double checked, all BSAs are checked in the Archives, and there are few mods that are unchecked in the Plugins. They were either unchecked by the Bash Patch or they were dummy plugins.

Id bet my money on it being iTexMipMapSkip set to something other than 0. There are various textures like clouds that corrupt with mipmaps

Solid arrows in the clouds? I haven't heard of anything quite like like. Can you post a screenshot when you get a chance? You can post the screenshot in imgur or another file/photo sharing site and post the embed link here using the Image icon the editor toolbar.

Ah, what DY I believe calls "Modder's Paradise" mode. Delete the bShowMarkers from Skyrim.ini. That should do it.

Why would anyone play without those? This is SO convenient to understand what's happening and what will happen. Or am I being too nerdy ? :P
