Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Hello again everyone. For some reason the game doesn't recognize the SKSE folder in mod organizer and when i put another one in game directory it recognizes it. Is there any way for the SKSE in the mod organizer to work?
paul666root Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 how did you set it up ? it should be ...\Mod Organizer\mods\Skyrim Script Extender\SKSE\SKSE.ini
Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 Thats exactly how i set it up!I am really dazzled about this.
paul666root Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) go to MO(right panel)/Data tabscroll down to SKSE folder and click that triangle. Is there under SKSE folder SKSE.ini ? Edited June 9, 2016 by paul666root
paul666root Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 then what do you mean by the game does not recognise the SKSE ?
Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 This is the SKSE mod/folder in my mod organizer/mods directory : [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048 Yet the Memory Blocks Log shows Heap as 256.
Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Nope steam version. Edit : But i installed the game on my D:/ drive. Edited June 9, 2016 by Bircangelo
paul666root Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 try this and see if MEmory blocks Logs shows correct values this time: Click the Gears icon in the top left of Mod Organizer. Click on SKSE. Add the Following to the Arguments: "-forcesteamloader". Click Modify Button. Click the Close button.
Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Nope it's same im afraid. Edit : Now my plugins get unchecked randomly whenever i leave the game...this is weird Edited June 9, 2016 by Bircangelo
paul666root Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Then you should use Crash Fixes 10. Latest update.in CrashFixPlugin.ini set UseOSAllocators=1 (this is in Crash fixes mod) download SKSE Plugin Preloader from here https://www.nexusmods...im/mods/75795/? InstallingPut d3dx9_42.dll in your root Skyrim directory (where TESV.exe is), NOT in data folder! then the memory part of SKSE.ini should be ignored and your game should work properly
Bircangelo Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 Lol guess what happened; my computer froze after all this so i restarted, ran CCleaner and now it works fine...weird but thanks for all the help yet again paul!Maybe i had some registery issues.
uncleseano Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Have a look at your file extensions, something when you create SKSE.ini it adds the .txt (which you can't see) so it's actually SKSE.ini.txt That screwed me over before :P
Nozzer66 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Get rid of the one in the data folder, you shouldn't need it.
