Question

Posted

I think i have an issue with Nvidia Inspector.

I set, as recommended in profiles to Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim and set the settings according to STEP, once finished i click to "Apply changes" and save my profile to a folder (renaming it), next time i start Nvidia Inspector is set again to _Global_Driver_Profile (Base Profile)  and even when i import my saved former profile, that _ Global..... profile does not change

I have repeated this process several times with the same result, and i have no clue about what is going on

A final question. Should Nvidia inspector be kept open whilst i play skyrim for it to work?

Thaks for your time

Try typing "Elder" into the box at the top where it says Global_Driver_Profile (Base Profile) and then choose Skyrim from those options and see if the setting changes you made are still there.  Mine does exactly what yours is doing but when I check the Skyrim settings they're all correct.

I've been meaning to ask this question too.

You have to type in the game that you're looking for each time as Staz mentioned aboved. Inspector does not open with the last profile you edited.

You do not have to keep Inspector open. Just make your changes, save (hit the button twice for good measure), and then close and play the game. No need to keep it open unless you're running the monitors for whatever purpose.
