  1. I installed it with no problems so far. The performance gain is nice for those of us with lesser machines. But it is a sacrifice as shadows are a rather important part of immersion.
  2. I've used this the past couple weeks and really like it. I haven't had any issues either. It is a quick and easy little immersion enhancer.
  3. I would think it would pretty much eliminate the ability to use mods that change/add content and/or functionality. I'm sure there is a way you could compare two installs against each other for the presence of ESM/ESPs in a similar fashion to how BOSS does it. But anything else installed would be difficult to identify. I may be wrong though. Even though I've been using mods in games for years, I'm more of an "end-user" then anything else. Reading and obeying guides like STEP are my bread and butter. I'm one of the lazy ones that never really learns the finer details :P
  4. I am eagerly waiting for further development on that though it is one of the epic projects that will probably never be finished. At the point I am in the game I would love to have a friend jump in for some fun. I certainly could use some help killing Dragon Lords. But no way could the Skyrim storyline work with multiple people without some major re-writing.
  5. As fun as the games are, I've always found the best parts of Elder Scrolls to be the community and their creations. An MMO version will never be able to deliver that same experience. So far all I see is the same old MMO concepts with an ES spin added to it. Been there, done that. The ability to co-op in an ES game could be a fun option though.... "Hail, who goes there?" - player 1 "My name is Shrekalakaka. I am the Dragonborn." - player 2 "Me too! Fus Ro Dah to you brother!" - player 1 "Let's go to Breezehome and see if Lydia is still sitting in that chair upstairs." - player 2 "LOL she's so stupid" - player 1Well actually I'm not even sure co-op would work....
  6. I could do without the magic lamp, but everything else is fun. A quick and easy way to spice up a new playthrough. I've had it installed with STEP 2.01 and an embarrasing amount of additional mods without any compatibility problems. I'm re-installing everything based on STEP 2.1, but I can't see it conflicting with anything.
