  1. Alright thanks I'll give it a try. I was just a bit put off by some of the descriptions in the ini that made it sound rather experimental, for example: "; Info: Crash happens during loading, no idea. Might be related to rendering. ; Address: D822D8 ; Solution: Tried patch something but it probably doesn't work." which is enabled by default :D. I'll see if it helps anyway though.

Sorry probably should have mentioned that I am running Windows 7 (I created a dual boot just for Skyrim :D) so the 4gb limit should not be a problem; besides, while running Skyrim Performance Monitor I do not ever seem to go above 3.5gb of RAM or VRAM anyway. After resetting my ini files and reinstalling DynDOLOD with the latest version the stuttering seems to have been reduced substantially (at 256mb reserved); I've noticed that it's almost absent in exteriors (some is always to be expected anyway, of course) but seems worse in the cities, at least in Windhelm where I tested. Nevertheless, I think it's at an acceptable level now, thanks for your input. :) Do you mind, though, if I ask you about general stability as well? Not sure if I'm allowed to sidetrack my own thread :p or if I should ask considering this is in DynDOLOD support :D. I'll just paste this into a new thread if you prefer. Just that I'm getting random CTDs on save load, cell load and in exteriors and cities (not sure about interiors with limited testing so far); they're not that often but I'm not sure what's causing them. Like I said RAM and VRAM do not exceed 3.5gb according to SPM and memory blocks log showed Block 1 reaching a maximum of 496mb before my latest crash in Windhelm (that's after about 20 minutes of running around the map at ground level). I use your memory patch through SKSE. I don't think this is a load order issue as I spent a long time going through conflicts in xEdit and resolving them to the best of my ability. I suppose the next step will be to try Papyrus Logging. Thanks for any advice on this :)
  3. I noticed a consistent microstutter when I started testing my attempt at a fully modded Skyrim build. It is only present in exteriors. After trying many different enb and driver settings I found that running a save without DynDOLOD installed eliminated the microstutter completely. I tried generating a DynDOLOD output with the low, rather than medium, setting but this made no difference. I am running a large load order but the only mod relevant to DynDOLOD is the Skyrim Flora Overhaul (basic).   4. I've discovered a very strange issue with companions in Fallout 3. As I add items to their inventory, they eventually reach their carry weight cap as usual and I can no longer add items. However, if I then reenter their inventory, I can continue adding items for a while again until they hit another limit. Sometimes this can take a few attempts. Repeating this effectively gives them infinite carry weight. I forced my companion's carry weight to 300 with the 'forceav' command and then started this process by adding items to their inventory; each time I hit a new limit I would check their carry weight using 'getav' and it will have increased. I have tested this on Fawkes and Star Paladin Cross. I followed the STEP Fallout 3 Guide (https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kelmych/Fallout3) and as such have the FWE Followers Enhanced Plugin and JIP Companions, which might be relevant. Thanks for any advice on this :)
  5. Sorry, I wasn't very clear. The drifting occurs on all weapons; I was just mentioning that the assault rifle sight is actually stuck in the wrong position rather than just drifting so I think it's a separate issue. It definitely doesn't have anything to do with other mods. EDIT 2: Oh wow silly mistakes regarding the assault rifle; I didn't realise the G3 Millenia weapon replaced the assault rifle :D.
  6. I've found one other post about this issue but it was a couple of months old and didn't present any solution (https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9872-solution-wanted-for-iron-sights-drift). This is related to the known conflict between RH Ironsights and the Fallout Stutter Remover. Over time the iron sights drift either vertically or horizontally until your view is blocked by the weapon; this is not at all related to the intentional drift which is part of the mod as this still occurs when drift is disabled. I've found this to be easily reproducible by moving the camera up and down while looking down sights; they will quickly drift off course and then remain in that position even after re-equipping the weapon. Disabling stutter remover fixes the problem. Setting the frame rate limit to 54 fps (idk) in the stutter remover ini file also fixes it, although for me at least this is just a temporary fix. :) If anyone has an alternative solution I would appreciate instructions for it. :) I will continue troubleshooting, changing settings in the ini and perhaps using an older version of stutter remover. For anyone else having the problem it might be worth checking if you can run the game without stutter remover; I was somehow able to run the game without it on my last build without microstutter and so didn't encounter the ironsights problem. Specs: Windows 10 64bit Nvidia GTX 980, latest drivers On a sidenote, my ironsights on the assault rifle were off, although not drifting, even without stutter remover. It seems to be a separate issue so I'm wondering if anyone has an idea for the cause of this. The texture for it is coming from the Weapon Enhancement Pack so that might be the culprit. Update: In an effort to bypass using Stutter Remover I tried the iFPSClamp edit; I know this messes up the physics as the frame rate dropped but figured that this was the best compromise. I inserted iFPSClamp under General in Fallout.ini under Mod Organizer and set it 60, also making sure that iPresentInterval was set to 1 in FalloutPrefs.ini. Microstutter was gone, but after a while the ironsights started to drift off again! I even started a clean save to make sure there was no stutter remover and made sure it was deactivated; it seems that iFPSClamp also causes ironsight drift. Are there any other methods anyone knows of to eliminate microstutter while bypassing the stutter remover and not getting ironsight drift? Update 2: Setting iFPSClamp seems to fix it; I ran around shooting things with a hunting rifle for about 10 minutes and the sight didn't budge so seems fairly consistent. No stutter either of course. This might be a solution if anyone's looking for one. :)

I installed ENBoost as instructed on the Fallout 3 STEP guide (https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kelmych/Fallout3#ENB_Series), disabling antialiasing and anisotropic filtering in falloutprefs.ini and enabling them in enblocal.ini. However, in game there doesn't appear to be any AA. ENBoost is definitely activated. I tried the injector version as well with the same settings, with the same result. I even tried disabling AF and AA in enblocal.ini and re-enabling them in falloutprefs.ini, but it's still absent. Removing all of the enb files brings it back. I want to use ENBoost for its stability but I can't get past this antialiasing problem. Specs: Windows 10 64bit EVGA GTX 980, latest drivers Using Mod Organizer Thanks in advance :) Edit: It might also be worthwhile mentioning that the grass texture seems to break as well, just becomes very low resolution. Am I just missing something obvious?
