  1. @Nebulous112 : I'm sorry, my first thought was to not answer, but a bad day at work lead me to the wrong decision, you can delete it if you want, i've nothing constructive to add to this discussion. (and this one too).
  2. @LordOfLA: it seems you are very stubborn, you confuse causes and consequences and make statement which are totally wrong (especially the one about ExpandSystemMemoryx64) that can be easily verified if you do some search on Boris' forum. I'm happy that you can do nothing for me, because i don't ask about it. I only correct your false statement. I ensure you that my guide is used by some people that you seems to trust ;)
  3. I took a look at that guide : First, I'm sorry for Hishutup, i respect him and it's work but he is wrong about advising to use a value of 1024 for skse, i will be happy to discuss of it with him if he wants. About crash fixes, he advises to doesn't use memory management because it may induce memory fragmentation problem. As I understand with my limited english skill, the use of the word "may" induce that it is not an affirmation, only a possibility. For me, nothing counteract that i said before. I wrote a complete guide especially for users who wants to use Crash fixes memory management. I've got a significant technical knowledge and I did a lot of research and testing about this. This problem is very system dependent and can be induced by many apps (OS, anti-virus, third party resident software) which put various craps in virtual address space which induce memory fragmentation , it is not due to crash fixes, this settings only make problems noticeable, it is not the cause. As example, the use of a value of 1024 with skse and ExpandSystemMemoryX64 set to true(enb setting) can induce exactly the same problem too. That's why Boris and sheson stated that is wrong. So I ensure you that problem is not caused by crash fixes, it is only a consequence. I'm really open to suggestions which could bring amelioration to my guide that's why I asked you to discuss about by PM because i don't want to hijack this thread which concerns the guide made by DarkladyLexy and Darth_Matias not mine. So I stop posting on this thread about this because I thought that you could bring me interesting technical arguments and not an advice from an another guide (which contains an error about how to configure memory management) that i already know furthermore it is off-topic
  4. (Sorry for the double post, i forget this and I was too slow to edit the previous one :/) Beside that i'm curious to know what make you conclude this. I know that I'm not facing this problem on my two rig. A lot of my guide users use it or not and don't seems to face problem but I can't be sure because they can change things without tell it to me. I will be happy if we can discuss about it by pm. I'm interested to know : Is it systematic ? Which test did you do and your configuration detail ?
  5. Again, i'm sorry to contradict you, I use crash fixes Beta 4 since many build and it doesn't induce CTD when you use or not use this option. (As i said before, one of my pc use it, the other one not, and the two use same crash fixes version)
  6. I'm sorry, my english skill is quite limited, so I'm not sure to understand your intention, especially the last part which sound a bit mocking... I can't know what is the level of your knowledge or who you are, if you have helped meh or not... The only thing I can say is this feature doesn't always generate CTD if you don't use it. A lot of users of my guide don't use it without any problems. I've got two PCs at home with very different setups which i use for tests, and i must active customblock only on one (the one with less memory), the other one didn't face CTD (or not related to this) despite that option is disabled.
  7. @LordOfLA: Your statement about crash fixes is wrong, as already said, this settings is useful only if you face "running out of memory" message. This option is an attempt to fix memory fragmentation problem. About your assumption against LoS which generates CTD, I use this mod since two years in many build and never facing CTD with it. Even if i forget to change the check timer which be ridiculously short for this kind of mod.
  8. @berndaroy: This setting is useful only if you face "running out of memory" error. If it works as is, don't bother with it.
  9. @Minoke: A preset is provided further in the guide : Custom Uncapper for Ordinator, no needs to configure it. If you want to understand what it does, it include a spreadsheet with examples.
  10. Hello, I'm facing a problem that i don't know how to solve. In dual wielding, When i try to block, it doesn't play the usual animation (cross swords in front of me), I crouch a little bit and my arms stay down, i really don't know where i made a mistake. I noticed on tk dodge thread that one user reported that it induced by TK, but i never faced this problem previously (but it was the old tk dodge). I know that mod is not a part of this guide but it is a very common one, maybe someone could help me.
  11. yes, i see that too, but it is not mentioned in the MCM settings at the end of the guide.
  12. I'm in File Explorer for this, not MO. If you don't have it, it is okay, not all users face this problem and i'm not sure it is valid for all version (but when you face the problem, it is how to solve it). @DarkladyLexy: About lantern of Skyrim, this mod checks in-game hours every 5 seconds, you can set it to 60 or 120 sec without problem and save some precious resource for other mod which really need it ;)
  13. Yes, this fix is only available for windows 10
  14. I use it with my previous load order (based on your guide from May) works perfectly, no conflict at all. You can take a look at Immersive Children - child mortality and burial and animation fixes which works very well too and provides tool to generate a patch to solve conflicts. @berndaroy : i'm a fan of Jaxonz' tools especially the one about archery and the positioner, furthermore they can be merged without problem ;)
  15. About the dialog issue, you can test Don't Push Me While I'm Talking, it is an skse plugin. You can try Suit Up
  16. I thought about to make it myself but I was so happy that you already do it ! A big thank you !! @About little things : if i remember well, Atmosphere texture and snowflakes texture could induce incompatibilities with Vivid Weather (or NVLA). It is a very good mod !
  17. Hello, Some users seemed to be interested by my mod Higher difficulty so i hope i won't upset anybody by calling for beta testers here. As some of you noticed, AAE override my difficulty change because it uses PC Level Mult to scale monster level with player. So i edited all NPC to give them a level array and a fixed level. I tried to do my best to make it balanced. I tested it a bit and result seems good but it is hard to test alone (and because i'm currently rebuilding my load order XD). i will be happy if you could give me your feedback (please do it on the mod page, i don't want to hijack this thread). After testing, i will build a CR patch for this guide (after i finish to build my LO). PS: If it is a bad idea to post this here, feel free to delete.
  18. Forgotten Retextures is a very good replacement, i use it from a while. About storage, i'm a very fond of cloud storage (which use general store), i used it with you previous version of this guide (6 month ago) without any problem. Very few conflicts and a very useful way to handle storage. Sadly, LOTD uses its own auto-sort storage solution that i avoid to use because this one is better (and works from everywhere).
  19. Do you use crash fixes memory management ? Can you post their ini file ?
  20. Hello, I used this mod since a long time to unify weapons damage from diverse mod. Maybe it could interest you. I tweaked uncapper for ordinator to block leveling for non-attack skill (ex: you gain blacksmith level but your PC level is not influenced, in counterpart you gain a little more perk points), if you tell me what you want i can customize it for you.
  21. A good side effect is to encourage player to buy it instead of gather it but if I remember well, vendor doesn't sell a lot of these materials so I think it will be boring. TME seems to be a good deal to adjust price for any items (including modded one) and make them more balanced, if it adjusts these prices maybe be set a lower multiplier is ok ? EDIT: After reading your discussion with DanielUA, i understand why it can be problematic. I love the very limited carry weight but it can be apprecaite by everybody so, i go same side as berndaroy.
  22. The interest of Honed metal is for people who doesn't want to improve their blacksmith and enchantment skill, it adds a roleplay solution to obtain constructible gears (and to spent their septims ^^). I like it, but i totally understand that it is not for everybody.
  23. @DarkladyLexy: if we kept RRR configured as you suggest, i think godescalcus suggestion is too low. With hardcore trade and barter settings, Reddvilz proposition seems good With normal trade and barter settings, yours could be a good option. Maybe it will be simpler to put an explanation which include each values and how to set it ? If you must retain only one, I think yours is the best one. Mods like honed metal or/and loot and degradation add a good source of outgoings and permit to reduce septims accumulation speed ;)
