pfff. Back with still some problems. My game still freezes when a caster in the wild is using fire or frost spells on me. Last days I reduced my esp's from 248 to 227. And I deactivated most of the battle esp's like enhanced blood, and earlier deadly spells and burn freeze shock effects. But still my game freezes. It doesn't happen when it's from a distance, but only from close by. I also reduced my textures more in line with step 2.2.6 so my GTX670 2Gb could run them smoothly, and it does.

Thanks. Can you explain this? As for steam then it is better to just reinstall the game at a new location. Do remember that you can create new steam lib´s in the steam options at new harddrives if you wish. This way you will not run into weird registry conflicts later on. I not only have to reinstall the game, but also steam has to move to the new drive? Edit: Thanks Aiyen, I'm learning a lot from you.

Sounds really good. But how about the reinstal of Steam, the configure skyrim and ini tweaks of STEP/ SR, I have to do again right? And for the move of Steam, I found this:Â https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 The following instructions are a simple way to move your Steam installation along with your games: Exit the Steam client application.Browse to the Steam installation folder for the Steam installation you would like to move (C:\Program Files\Steam by default).Delete all of the files and folders except the SteamApps folder and Steam.exeCut and paste the whole Steam folder to the new location, for example: D:\Games\Steam\Launch Steam and log into your account.Steam will briefly update and then you will be logged into your account. For installed games, verify your game cache files and you will be ready to play. All future game content will be downloaded to the new folder (D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\ in this example)

I have a complete STEP/ revisited install of Skyrim, build up with MO, Wrye Bash, DDSopt, Tes5edit, nvidia inspector, ENB. I want to move steam and my complete Step install to a new harddrive, what is the best way to go without messing everything up, or installing everything again? I know how I can move Steam, but don't know what it will do with my install. After moving steam can I just copy my total games folder (where steam and all the supporting programs are in) to my new drive?

Your right. I noticed what Bloom does, and like the colours, but sometimes I have the feeling my char is walking in the fog.

Could the following be something to get better performances and lower my vram? The author of RealVision enb recommends it. Ewis high ini and prefs https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36146/?tab=4&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D36146%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D995846&pUp=1

I followed the revisited instal so I have CoT (no darker nights) and RLO icm with RealVision ENB. I'm a little bit playing around with ENB ingame. Not sure if I like the bloom. Aiyen thanks for your help so far, I'm learning bit by bit. Gonna try your tips tomorrow to make it a little lighter...

No, but I can see the difference ingame when I enable it in enb managerCan you enable/disable ENB in game by pressing Shift+F12? I did something wrong installing ENB, it is now working properly. My nights became a lot darker, can I lighten those up a little bit?

No, but I can see the difference ingame when I enable it in enb manager

Thanks. I only have one problem, shift-enter doesn't work... :(I use the ENB manager.

Thanks.I think I shut everything off with nvidia inspector.
-
Can you help, or explain how I can do that? I really like ENB, but in some area's I have to shut it off because my vram can't take it. Is there a console command to shut ENB on and off? I'm also considering to use ULO instead of ENB, but ENB works fine in most area's.

But you have to track what files those are, so you can delete them again if you don't like them.

In SR the following line is in the description for ENB. Also disable any driver-based anti-aliasing you may have set using Nvidia Inspector. Does that mean I have to adjust my settings with Nvidia inspector? Instead of the guide for Nvidia user stated in the beginning of SR?
