  1. Hello, I was having an issue with DynDOLOD not creating the LODS. After a little trial and error it was clear that the game area check boxes in the upper left of the advanced tab were unchecked by default. I checked them all and upon clicking ok in the advanced settings tab, DynDOLOD started creating the required files. I am just waiting for them to complete now. I'd be interested in why the check boxes were not checked by default for me. Just bringing this to someones attention as it was an annoyance in an other wise excellent run through the latest guide. Keep up the great work guys :)

  3. I am quite a way into this playthrough and ticking these BSAs is causing crashes. Is this expected if i never ticked them at the beginning?
  4. I have put in about 30+ hours into a playthrough with this build but i have just noticed 3 BSAs are unchecked, I didn't notice this before, is this part of the build? The files that are unchecked are. STEP_Optimized_Vanilla_Textures_S2.bsa STEP_Optimized_Vanilla_Textures_S1.bsa BWS.bsa I am using MO to Manage archives. Full STEP Extended build. Thanks

  6. Oh well thanks for the help anyway. Might be worth saying, I have noticed a torch in a guards hand behaving in a similar way, when I walked past him it popped out but did not reappear like the grass does.
  7. You mean the MCM settings? or the crashes at Dragonsreach?
  8. If a esp is a dummy MO will usually mark it with an icon (a sweeping brush) in the plugins tab. Whether these can always be unchecked or not? sorry i can't help there :)
  9. Looks like i completely forgot to edit MCM settings *facepalm* Perhaps that part of the guide could be reiterated at the end as a reminder. I shall test for CTDs with these settings in place needless to say grass issue is unresolved.
  10. Sorry for the late reply, this has no effect on the grass bug. I have just reinstalled all of STEP Extended because of another bug where CTDs were occurring during transitions through Whiterun front gate and Dragonsreach front doors. Both of these bugs, the grass and the CTDs, still seem to occur. The CTDs are not occurring frequently and so far only occur in Whiterun. Very puzzling any advice on where to look for clues on the cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.
  11. It seems to still happen although i'm sure it has moved the pop out point slightly. Reducing it further has little impact.

I have just finished my install of STEP Extended 2.2.9.2 and i have noticed a few bugs. - Insects land on invisible fauna - Actors and creatures seem to drop from the sky whilst walking exteriors (intermittent) - Black hand textures whilst they are covered in blood (intermittent) - Grass pop-out at the edges of the screen (FoV as per the guide set to 16:9 value) These are just a few i have spotted on a quick test run It should be noted I have installed all recommended mods following baseline and 1-2k textures with ENBoost. (Assuming no error on my part!) I shall update with system and build info if needed. Absolutely great guide i have to say! Thanks.
  17. Loot appears to not give a warning for SFO about requiring cleaning. TESEdit will clean the 1 ITM regardless. Thanks This issue is solved.

It seems removing the files that needed removing before i merged the main file with the optional was leaving the SFO - Dragonborn.esp unactive so i have installed both files and hidden them instead which left the optional plugin active. Great. However still no ITM to clean i am guessing i may have missed something earlier in the guide? Thanks.
  19. I am following the STEP Extended and using mod Organizer i have installed everything up to Skyrim Floral overhaul but i have come up to a problem. It says that SFO needs cleaning with Tesedit but Loot shows no ITMs... Also should the SFO - Dragonborn.esp be ticked in the Plugins tab because it did not default to active and remains unticked thanks.
