  1. If you make a patch for Legacy and STEP Extended could you share? xD I'm still learning conflict resolution ...
  2. I went from the STEP Extended guide and went from that though :/ I then added Dovahkiin Reborn on top of that with its patches for STEP Extended, and then Legacy of the Dragonborn and it still sometimes has CTDs. Edit: I can't get rid of DeadlySpellImpacts.esp without annoying the STEP patch, so that's staying but I've made a few changes. Guess I'll keep trimming xD thanks for the help.
  3. Hmm, thank you. I'll check out my load order and then attempt the DefaultHeap magic.
  4. From this load order https://www.modwat.ch/u/EniracY all I added was Campfire, Frostfall and iNeed and suddenly it crashes with my DefaultHeap at 1024. If I revert back to 768 without altering my load order it loads fine. Edit: Am I doing something wrong?
  5. Why does the same load order work sometimes and not other times though?
  6. Ah ok. It's honestly still confusing me, as the exact same load order will sometimes crash with 1026 and sometimes won't. Still figuring it all out.
  7. This is my latest log, from trying to find my troublesome mods. So it's the 768? Thanks for explaining this to me ^_^"
  8. Still narrowing down mods ... While I'm looking, what tells me in the Memory Blocks log that I'm going under (or not) the limit?
  9. So I reverted to an earlier save where I didn't have my immersion mods installed: And everything loaded fine with the 1024 default heap - I checked Solitude, Riverwood and Whiterun to see if I could push it too far but it ran fine. Then I added in the above mods and it crashes as soon as I load the save. If I revert the default heap to 768 the save loads fine with these new immersion mods installed. Help >.<
  10. So I've tried several different saves and a new game and it crashes randomly on load when DefaultHeap is at 1024/ Doesn't happen as often when the original number but I then suffer from freezes. Any ideas? :( Latest Memory Blocks log:
  11. Oh sorry I didn't see your reply, I will get it now. Edit: Here's the new memory log below.
  12. Odd. Is there a way for me to find the source of the crash? It hasn't happened again since. Edit: So I tried to reload it and it crashed immediately, tried again without doing anything (except to comment on here) and it loaded ... Must be a mod issue right?
  13. Crashed :( I was entering the Bard's College in Solitude. Log from MO:
  14. Seems to be, yeah. Is it worth me trying to reduce my reserved memory now? I probably shouldn't try this load order on a new game as it must be a lot for the game to load and initialise all at once. Edit: I'm still giving my current save a workout to see if the freezing happens.
  15. Yes I run it all the time when I play, although I'm still learning how to read it properly.
  16. OH apologies. I've tried it at 128 and 256 and experience stuttering so have been trying out 384. Not with the new defaultheap though so perhaps I should put it down to 128 again and see?
  17. I used the VRAM tool in the STEP guide. Just did it again and I get 7808 minus the 170 for Windows 7. I essentially make profiles and build up my LO. STEP Extended STEP E & Dovahkiin Reborn SEDR + (a few other mods I love like Alternative Crafting etc.) SEDRPlus & Vivid Weathers (+ its ENB) SEDRPV & Legacy of the Dragonborn SEDRPVL & Immersion mods like Frostfall and iNeed
  18. Eight and a half :-) Edit: Correction, darn phone. Also, why?
  19. I've tried several saves with the DefaultHeap set to 1024 with CTDs but not a new save. I then put it back down to its original setting and it loaded my original problematic save. Quit, set the heap to 1024 and it seems to have loaded the save fine this time. I'm going to walk around now and check out Solitude Harbour to see if I get any freezes or CTDs. Not sure what's different... Thanks :-)
  20. Yus they're in the OP :) skse.ini is here:
  21. It is indeed set to that, I haven't altered enblocal.ini at all. All I changed was the default heap and it CTDs. Change back and it loads (albeit then froze xD )
  22. Putting it up to that causes CTD on save load :/
  23. Soo [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 turns into [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 ?
