Sorry *blush* I missed that part The two I did not mention in my earlier post I also use, but now Baubledorst has me curious. I used to do Alchemy early ( I always do it to some point-I just love that skill) to make money. But the cooking/alchemy overhaul we use now, similar to CACO, drastically reduces the value and makes it less lucrative. Smithing is my money maker now (which is why I hope we might add Immersive Jewelry -a blacksmith's dream). Enchanting has always had to wait. Unless of course I go no crafting at all and use Honed Metal.

That is kinda sweet!. @Shadriss I mentioned awhile back that we should start considering an end or at least a slow down to the mod inclusions for the guide (except the ones that add to the museum that aren't in yet). ~Wyrmstooth not included due to...well you know what I mean~ While it can always be added to up to a point, I believe that focuses on improvements and tweaks should be in the forefront. But Lexy will do her thing and this has become a labor of love for her, so we shall see what transpires.

I am a big fan of SRO also. As I have stated numerous times, sse optimized, with sro next, and noble on top. One thing I plan on trying is letting sro win landscape and noble win architecture and then, later on, sorting out luxor's and other textures. But that is a long time away for me. At least not until the guide is in a more permanent state with updates and tweaks being the most prominent additions.

Not to sound terse; however, you could search SE and LE on this forum and find this has been discussed before. It is all personal preference at this point between the two. There is an LE Guide stickied on the parent forum here and is done by Lexy's husband Darth_Mathias, as well as this SE guide here. LE is more fleshed out and has more mods but it more unstable and prone to crashes. SE is catching up to it and is almost there. SE's advantage is that it is 64 bit and more stable. Since you don't care about the graphics you can go either way, LE with more mods and less stable performance or SE with improved base graphics and not quite as many mods and a more stable experience. I would suggest that you try SE with no graphics additions other than a few armor/weapons mods and see if you like it and then work from there (say a level 20-30 character). I have a current vanilla profile I play on SE with nothing but SKSE, SSE Optimized Textures, the Unofficial Patch, SMIM, Obsidian Weather, and an ENB as well as a separate profile for this guide. Decide which you like better. Once you come to SE you won't go back. It just needs a little more time and a few mod authors to improve on the work older LE mod authors have abandoned.

I'm not commenting for or against the addition of the Wayshrines mod. I know I"m probably the oddball here, but I don't like fast travel at all and don't use it (excluding the cart rides). I don't particularly care for teleportation hubs either :P. For me fast travel breaks immersion. For someone unlike me, who has plenty of time to play, I can see where fast travel is a godsend.

I went back and looked and I did in fact misread your post. But I wasn't directing my comment directly at you either. It was all the other little birdies chiming in. I don't want a war either. You also tend to add quite a bit to the guide and I appreciate those efforts. Seems I don't do a very good job of explaining my line of thought or reasons behind them and am often thought of as lecturing or yelling at folks. A reason I bowed out of posting on Discord. I don't mind being wrong either, I often am in one way or another.

And on another thought: I think it might be a good idea to concentrate on including LOTD museum supported mods into the guide (if possible) prior to adding anything else new (if that is Lexy's overall direction). It is the highlight of the guide and what it is built around after all. I'll shut up now.

and Yes, there is that. I'm of the mind of...."it is isn't broke don't fix it". This lighting set up has been used for years, why? Because it works. Vivid Weathers needed to be changed, Obsidian is just better in nearly all aspects. But if you haven't noticed, there aren't a plethora of mod authors introducing new lighting mods. There is a reason for that.

Removing ELFX is going to be a bad idea. As baronaatista said ELE is the darkness culprit. Some effects that ELFX adds are going to be sorely missed. We have been using this RS/ELE/ELFX setup since SRLE why change it now? This is your guide, Lexy. Make it the way you want and stop listening to all these people trying to make you change it to "their" game. If they want a change, let them make it to "their" setup.
