Tattoos disappearing when stripping clothes
George79 replied to George79's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Well the answer is quite hilarious. Apparently body paint and nude doesn't work together. I used the underwear option from Better Males mod and it shows tattoos properly now. Weird. -

OK after tampering with it a bit, I realized that the female body accepts tattoos normally. It's the male body that has the issue. -
Tattoos disappearing when stripping clothes

No I'll try this! EDIT: Nah doesn't work. It seems that when the character is butt naked no bodypaint can be visible, even from the racemenu. I'll try re-installing the mod in case it got mixed up somehow. -

OK I posted it on the mod's nexus page and I'll give feedback here if I solve it. -
Tattoos disappearing when stripping clothes
George79 posted a question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Hello again. I noticed a "glitch" in my game with SRLE installed. I selected tattoos for the body of my character from the racemenu as I created a new character and they were showing nicely on the arms. However, when I took the clothes off, the tattoos were also removed. Here's what I mean: Tattoos ON with armor (fur kilt) Tattoos OFF without armor: What could be messing with this tattoo removal? -
I've been using SR:LE guide for a while now and it seems very stable even after adding a few extra mods to spice things up (like Skyrim Bigger Trees, Height Adjusted Races etc.). I've run the DynDOLOD and SUM and FNIS as appropriately too. I am now at the SE area of the Rift and I noticed a few CTDs occuring there. Most were inside the canyon of Dawnguard keep and occured at random i.e. leaving Dawnguard keep, walking around the outside of the keep, walking towards the entrance to its valley and so on. I've only had one or two CTDs at random before but I guess those were related to memory issues and not due to mods per se. But this area seems to be a bit buggy. Is there any way to troubleshoot it? Thanks

It's in the installer of the mod.

And here is a comparison screenshot: SBT off: SBT Lite: SBT Full: I don't know, but the lite one seems the more appropriate. Proportionally it makes sense too, as in the full version I came across a tree that taller than a mountain. Looked weird. A lot.
-
Nah doesn't work. It seems the textures are stretched no matter what I do. It is indeed weird that no textures folder is inside SBT archive.
-
Sorry it took so long to reply. I really have no idea why the texture is stretching on the trunks... the SBT mod has no textures of its own is my only guess, it just uses meshes and "dresses" them with whatever textures are available I guess. Somewhere I read that there are textures for SBT too but haven't found them... In Ivarstead it doesn't seem to be that much of an issue though: if you have any ideas and would like to help with that odd texture lengthening I'd appreciate it Neovalen.

So I installed the Skyrim Bigger Trees mod on the SR:LE guide and I think it looks pretty damn immersive. What do you think? FPS drop was less than I expected (around 3-5 fps in Falkreath area) and no crashes in the crash test (high speedmult and tcl to roam around). I didn't run the scripts for DynDoLOD again. Should I do that also? Also, should I place the mod at the bottom of the load order or near the SFO? Don't know if there are any known bugs with SBT but I think I'm keeping it

SKYRIMLE Skyrim Bigger Trees (by Xweto and Jonigts)
George79 replied to Besidilo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think this mod would be a great and immersive addition to the awesome SR:LE guide by Neovalen. There is a mod for LOD compatibility too: https://www.nexusmods...im/mods/58396/? I will try them tonight but I don't know if they mix well with the rest of the guide :/ Hope Neovalen has some advice on how to implement it properly. -

Need help to improve fps in SR:LE on good hardware
George79 replied to xxx78's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
It is really weird that you get the FPS you get with the hardware you have. I get around 43-50 fps outside, 60 flat inside with a single GTX770 and not a single LOD, mesh, ENB tampered with. Without ENB I get flat 60 everywhere. Have you enabled triple buffering for Skyrim in nvidia control panel? Also double check your AA settings are off in the .ini files. I thought I had them off but they were on in the .ini files. Another impact would be the shadow resolution. If you have both primary/secondary at 4k then lower it to 2k/1k respectively. With ENB shadows look nice and smooth no matter what anyway ;) -
Thanks man!

Spider eggs problem
George79 replied to George79's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
As I was coming to confirm I saw your answer! It seems that the Webs Extended mod was UNchecked - I've no idea when and how - and only its patch was ON. I enabled it and problem was solved! Thanks for the reply! So far no crashes with this guide it rocks! ^^ -
Hi there, I got this guide running and I reached this place in Bleakfalls Burrow. There is this weird glow on the eggs; any ideas what could be causing this? I used SRLE guide to the letter. Any thoughts? Someone?
-
I get around 40-49 fps outdoors, 60 flat indoors with SR:LE installed. 2k textures an all. I had run the same guide again on Windows 7 and was around 10-15 fps lower than I am now with Windows 10.

You're welcome! I too discovered it quite recently!!

Which ENB are you using and why?
George79 replied to DoYouEvenModBro's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I now turned to Grim & Somber ENB and game looks fantastic. No issues at all. -
Well I recently installed the new Grim and Somber ENB for my SR:LE (plus other mods) Skyrim installation. As to your requirements here's my judgement: 1. Yes. Mod does not have a prerequisite for darker dungeons as it's already tweaked, compared to the Somber ENB which required the mod. 2. Nights are not completely dark but not completely light either. Light comes from moons and/or torches. 3. Yes I think it is subtle enough but it's tweakable. 4. Yes. 5. Yes. I also use the ELFX enhancer. 6. Yes. 7. Yes. 2.50 binaries as we speak. 8. Yes. My setup has 40+ minimum fps. 9. Yes. Haven't encountered this effect either. 10. Yes. 11. Other: I use the extra ENB textures for Realistic Water Two, and have setup the "water" and "underwater" parts of the ENB accordingly. Result is amazing. So I think you should give it a shot. Makes the game like a movie and has grain effect and vignette on by default. I don't like grain so I disable it :)

Astake, yes I have installed the compatibility patch. I've no idea why it crashed. Now that VL is gone, it seems stable as ever. So far. I will go further down and see how it goes.
-
Hi thanks for the answer. Yes I use the SSME and ENBoost both. I still get the crashes. I restarted the game, new character and all, same mod installation and had a couple of crashes around riverwood. Now I'm in Bleak Falls Barrow and when trying to exit after the word wall fight, I crash. I can't get out. Will uninstall the parallaxes and see if it helps. I haven't checked with VMM but I've set the blocks to 512 and 256 respectively. Is it still OK? Holy cow thalixte! I un-installed vivid lanscapes all in one and I got out of BFB no crash!! OK that mod is out of here. Let's see further down the road... Thanks!!
