  1. Okay, so I re-ran DynDoLod to see if the issue would come up again. And it did, while generating LOD for JaphetsFollyWorld this pops up Naturally I hit okay, and then it started running smoothly again. What I wanna know is if this is gonna damage the LOD for JaphetsFollyWorld or any other worldspace, or if this is normal. Another quick update, im also getting the little black squares on my map and in my LOD. I didnt have this issue before, I do now: Update, version 1.46 still had the black boxes on the map and in the LOD, seems to be mostly around Whiterun. Is this because I made the mistake of uninstalling and reinstalling DyndoLOD while outside my house in Whiterun? I even did a new game file, and I still had the flickering black boxes on my world map. Im at a loss of what to do. Im doing a full wipe of DyndoLOD. Going into a vanilla building, uninstalling and deleting every dyndolod folder and file and waiting 10 ingame days. Sadly when I did that, I checked the map, along with alot of missing texture the black boxes are still there. I'm gonna try 1.46 again, im really hoping this will work, im at my wits end. Iv installed this mod 5 times today, and it takes an hour each time. I never had this issue with 1.37. I also checked my vram, I was at max 2.5 gb of vram, and I have 3gb of vram to use. Can someone please help me, im really at a loss. Another update, the second 1.46 install didn't fix anything. Still get black boxes on the world map and the mountain LOD gets em, and sometimes ill see em on the roads around Whiterun. Havent left the Whiterun area. I did notice this went I stepped outside and DyndoLOD activated, the MCM menu said this: Not soon after the message changed to DynDOLOD activated. DynDOLOD active world Tamriel. I don't understand, this is all from 1.46, all the files and esp. I use NMM and when I import DynDOLOD to NMM I gotta make the data file into a rar, I pack it all into a rar. The esp and textures, meshes and such and when I generate the LODs (which by the way LODGen keeps telling me a previous one was generated and asking me if i want to make a new one, and I do everytime. Could that be the issue?) and import the Output folder, it asks me to overwrite nearly 3K things from the output folder that was already imported from the Data folder when I make it into a rar. Could that be the issue? I know it isnt my graphics card, I ran other games that are much more graphically heavy with no black spot anywhere and its only on the world map and generated LODs. I'm really sorry for this long ass message here, but iv been going at this for almost 8 hours trying to figure out why DynDOLOD is making these black splotches and squares on the LOD and world map. I don't want to give up. Update, did a fresh install of Skyrim. Deleted everything in my Data folder and reinstalled Skyrim, loaded up NMM and disabled and then manually re-enabled every mod. When I loaded up Skyrim I didnt have the black flickering squares on my world map but I did see one, it was in the middle of some missing mountain textures on the map. Issue is, most of my LODs are now missing textures, I dont know how to get them back, so even if I decide to stop using DyndoLOD due to this, I cant. I get left over meshes and my map and LOD have alot of missing textures. I think the only way to fix it would to do a fresh install of everything and start a new Skyrim file, something I dont wanna do. Im not even sure that would do it. Gonna try again.
  2. So I think I found the issues, was running an old version of TES5Edit aswell as the Papyrus mod. Re-installing Dyndolod but 40 minutes in I was generating LODs for something Folly, I think. It was taking a few minutes. After like 5 minutes a pop up came up saying that LOD.exe is still running black and white and that if I clicked ok it would generate lods for the next worldspace, if I hit cancel it wouldnt or something like that. I tried to take a screencap but I hit enter on accident and it clicked ok on me. Does anyone know what that was or what it means? Did the LODs get messed up again? Sorry for all the questions, its been almost a year since iv done Dynodolod and it feelsl ike im doing it all over, again.

  4. Been awhile since iv played Skyrim and I needed to update Dyndolod today. While doing so, about 40 minutes in the LODGen stopped responding, so I clicked to close the program thinking I had to redo the entire instilation process, but as-soon as the LODGen closed TES5Edit continued and was generating more LODs. This happened twice actually, but I cant remember when it stops responding, all I know is its always about 40 minutes in. Should I worry about the LOD? Do I need to try a third time, or should it be fine?

  7. I ran into a odd issue, don't know if im the only one. But im updating DynDOLOD, and when I try to select my folder that iv always used for DynDOLOD output "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mods\DynDOLOD - Output" it won't let me and will only use "C:\Users\Paul\Documents\Skyrim - TES5EDIT\Edit Scripts\Output" I didn't have this issue before, only with this new version, but I take it that it doesnt matter, aslong as I copy the output into my data folder. Right?

  9. Pretty sure I did a clean save (well update). Deleted all the correct folders, and even overwrote what stuff was left when I installed the updated files. None of them were tent files too, I think most were Beyond Reach and other New Land mods. Aside from the tents I also notice that windmill fans take a second or two to pop up when you fast travel close to one. With and without Skymills.
  10. Sadly for me, the textures and LOD seem to mix. Maybe reinstalling my tent retextures will help?
  11. So I ran into a new odd glitch, if I fast travel to a place that has tent(s), for example stormcloak or Imperial outposts. The tent LOD wont vanish, but instead clip with the tent. If I travel by foot to the camp, the issue doesnt seem to happen. I don't know why this glitch happens, but it only happens when you fast travel to a place.   12. Updated DynDOLOD and im getting the Windmills vanishing issue. So I got a question, if I install DynDOLOD will it make the windmills bigger or not? Cause I use SMIM but I use the Merge-All.esp to save slots.
  13. So what should I do? Uninstall and reinstall Beyond Reach? Will I have to re-run DynDOLOD?
  14. Oh alright, thats good then. For those who have issues with Skyfalls+Skymills and DyndoLOD, I found a fix (well I think, it works for me). You're gonna have to uninstall Skyfalls/Mills first. Then install this and let it overwrite anything SMIM oriented (I made this with SMIM-Merged-All.esp in mind), then re-install or update DynDOLOD and let it do Dynamic and Static LODs. https://mega.co.nz/#!OhAhTDCB!oq30Wc1dA0PKoHPE78iyX_MVJlEVQU4DIK3suVmKhu8 I extracted the windmill meshes from Skymills and the comp version from SMIM. I tested it at Solitude and Whiterun and I have the big SMIM sails in LOD and when I get close to them mills. They should also be set the way Skymills had them, so they don't clip with anything (im looking at you Katla's Farm). The only issue iv had is that it takes a second for the Windmill Sail at Katla's Farm to show up if you fast travel to the spot.

  16. I did notice one thing I wanna ask though. The last time I did DynDOLOD, I generated static and dynamic lods, and when I went to exit when it was all said and done DynDOLOD.esp and arnima.esp were altered. arnima being Beyond Reach I clicked okay to the changes, I doubt a LOD mod could really mess up Beyond Reach but I though id ask just incase, aswell as wondering why arnima.esp was altered.
  17. Then may I ask why im only getting the windmill sails and not the full object? And why the road lod is missing near the windmills? Also, you're telling me that DynDOLOD won't show when inside Whiterun? I read on Skymills page that "You could create the static LOD (and or tree LOD) with DynDOLOD yourself, to include city extensions/custom home mod buildings into your LOD, by following the provided tutorials from both Sheson himself, or from GamerPoets. In short, press teh advanced button in the DynDOLOD GUI and simply untick the "Generate DynDOLOD" checkbox in the bottom of the screen." Could that possibly fix my issue? Are Dynamic LODs basically moving windmills and waterfalls? Edit: I notice that I keep getting a notification to let TES5edit know when LODGen.exe is done running, more so than usual. This is like my 4th reinstall of this mod now, trying to fix the Windmill issues, cause I get floating windmills and when I get close the building shows up but the windmills vanish. Edit 2: I notice that TES5edit says that the script is done but LODGen.exe still has to load Wyrmstooth LODs. Is this normal? I'm not getting a SKSE folder anymore either. Weird. Edit 3: After 5 different instillations I got it to work. What I did was take the meshes from Skyfalls+Skymills and SMIM for Windmills and deleted Skyfalls, taking the meshes and making them its own mod via winRAR and adding it to NMM and overwrite anything from SMIM-Merged. I now have giant windmills in my LOD along with the windmill building and the sails dont vanish when I get close.
  18. Hi, this is my first time posting but I have a reccuring issue. Whiterun (so far only place tested) is missing parts of the road and farmhouses, but it does have floating spinning windmills, both inside and outside the city. I tried using the optinal esp but it didn't work, when viewing the LOD outside of whiterun, im missing roads only were Windmills are too. Im using Skyfalls+Skymills, and I have DynDOLOD at the bottom of my loadorder (Whiterun fix under it currently). I tried some of the fixes, they dont work or I seem to be missing the files when running the LOD Generator. Can someone help? Im currently trying to install DynDOLOD again, hoping I fix it. Honestly, I only use Skyfalls for the bigger SMIM friendly windmills. If that other windmill mod worked with SMIM and didn't clip id dump Skyfalls+Skymills in a heartbeat.
