  1. Well that seems a bit low to me, given the card I'm guessing you have a good cpu as well. The lowest I've seen is 40 and the lowest constant I found is 45, usually it goes between 50 and 60. But I've did go a bit away from the guide... For now try max performance for texture optimization in the nvidia cp. Regarding the guide that I posted, I'm using load screen ctd fix, ordanator and windows memory compression fix
  2. Hey everyone, Just thought to add a gem for Windows 10 users https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/index/windows10_performance_guide
  3. Hey Lexy, what value do you use for ReservedMemorySizeMb in enblocal?
  4. Formid 000018fd Refrenceid 02002888 After a bit of reading I did find that this is a rare (i think) vanilla bug. I found a workaround https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/775358-castle-volkihar-door-wont-open/page-3
  5. Hi all, I've gotten in a bit of a jam. Doing dawnguard, taking serena home and the castle door isn't working. So not the gate but the door to get inside, serena does her dialog and the watchmen opens the gate but the door is completely non responsive. Any help would be appreciated
  6. Just thought this would be worth taking a look at: https://rd.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87687?tab=description
  7. Do we still need CR testing? Given the original CR has been updated
  8. Hi all, just a question can I replace the disable autosaves and replace it with the below, or should I keep the diabled autosaves and just add the following? Disable all autosave, autosave can occurs at bad moment and could lead to corrupt savegame or CTDs [saveGame] bDisableAutoSave=1 If you are like me and forget to save all the time, I strongly suggest you to use SafeAutosave and disable all autosave option in Skyrim settings.
  9. Is weapon speed fix supposed to be checked or unchecked in better vampires? I saw disparity alters the speed and I did notice as a vampire faster sword swinging, maybe it's supposed to be like this, but just asking
  10. Of course you dont load the esps that are already in the merges (I even deleted those xD)
  11. Yep, so with borderless windowed mode iPresentInterval =1 and enb worked ok, but not as smooth. With fullscreen in skyrimprefs set to 1 and the above two disabled, nvd vsync working properly and the game is much smoother
  12. Yep went through it and the system timer app is very good :) Got better performance on my work laptop, with work apps (SQL, VS) :D That's it then, will wait for the CR testing to complete and will start playing, thanks everyone
  13. Thanks :) What about the performance? Is a min of 40fps ok? Or did I screw something up
  14. Hi everyone, Just finished the guide on Windows 10, well finished it 4,5 days ago but had trouble with the driver vsync. Dont know if its OS or hardware related (if I remember correctly had the same issue on Win7) Anyway, in borderless windowed mode nvidia's vsync and frame-limiter did not work at all, used enbs for a while but it simply isn't smooth. So figured it out yesterday, turned off borderless in OneTweak and turned on fullscreen in skyrimprefs and now it's working perfectly. Getting a min of 40fps outside, is this ok (with the system in my sig)? Now waiting for the CR testing to finish and to start my playthrough :)
  15. Hi everyone, Going through the guide and noticed the iNPCs is updated :) Thanks for all the hard work
  16. Hi all, Wanted to ask if there is a chance that you'll add Bruma to this amazing guide https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84946/?
  17. I installed SFO like in Paul666root guide, so I just have one question, should I be deleting the .esp files? Does this guide need them? Sorry for being an annoyance about this :/
  18. And if its not too much trouble to update SFO :)
  19. Thanks. Think Ill stick with the guide, don't have enough skill at the moment to figure that out on my own
  20. Can I use the instructions from SRLE to install SFO 2.5b with all the optionals or with it break the CR?
  21. Hi all. So Ive come back to Skyrim after a year or so. I had Neovalens guide installed the last time and it was marvelous. So my question is should I wait for the above update to go through or can I start the guide (I just finished the prerequisites page)? Noticed that Interesting NPCs has a full updated version on their site but not on Nexus for now :)
  22. Found this mod to be very interesting https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1402? Looks nice :)
  23. So I installed an older driver and now it works as it should (AMD 15.20.1046) still getting the occasional fps drop when changing cells (probably should do a reinstall of the mods - but not until the Explorer guide is finished), but more or less its around 60fps and the gpu is actually working :)
  24. Ive already done that bit with Boris's tool and yes i can confirm that windows 10 only reads 4096mb while windows 7 (wow what a hassle to install - had to use the mb cd to get the system to read all the drivers..) reads 12000mb on the same crimson driver (15.12). So yea windows 7 even if you have less Vram I had most modes already downloaded so i whipped up a srle build and just threw on top the modes from explorers My findings so far are that both force borderless when set to true does get rid of the shimmering The AMD settings have no effect on the game (v-sync on and frame control don't do sh*) But I do get massive fps drops on random cell changes (not all the time) and sometimes when turning around, guess ill have to reinstall... Oh and i saw that the fov tweak does not work because when i enter the game and do the step fov 70.59 in the console my screen gets wider And one last thing i saw is that my gpu clock is never on its max (gpuz), dunno know why Here's my enblocal: [PROXY] EnableProxyLibrary=true InitProxyFunctions=true ProxyLibrary=d3d9_smaa.dll [GLOBAL] UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false UseDefferedRendering=true IgnoreCreationKit=true [PERFORMANCE] SpeedHack=true EnableOcclusionCulling=true [MULTIHEAD] ForceVideoAdapterIndex=false VideoAdapterIndex=0 [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=true DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=512 VideoMemorySizeMb=0 EnableCompression=true AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true [WINDOW] ForceBorderless=true ForceBorderlessFullscreen=true [ENGINE] ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true MaxAnisotropy=8 ForceLodBias=false LodBias=0.0 AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false EnableVSync=true VSyncSkipNumFrames=0 [LIMITER] WaitBusyRenderer=false EnableFPSLimit=false FPSLimit=59.9 [iNPUT] //shift KeyCombination=16 //f12 KeyUseEffect=123 //home KeyFPSLimit=36 //num / 106 KeyShowFPS=106 //print screen KeyScreenshot=44 //enter KeyEditor=13 //f4 KeyFreeVRAM=115 KeyBruteForce=66 [ADAPTIVEQUALITY] Enable=true Quality=1 DesiredFPS=60.0 [ANTIALIASING] EnableEdgeAA=true EnableTemporalAA=false EnableSubPixelAA=false EnableTransparencyAA=false [FIX] FixGameBugs=true FixParallaxBugs=true FixParallaxTerrain=true FixAliasedTextures=true IgnoreInventory=true FixTintGamma=false RemoveBlur=false FixSubSurfaceScattering=true FixSkyReflection=true FixCursorVisibility=true FixLag=false [LONGEXPOSURE] EnableLongExposureMode=false Time=1.0 BlendMax=0.0
  25. Hi all, So I just bought a AMD R9 390x and was planning on installing Skyrim and SRLE and https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/SRLE_Explorer_Custom I know Boris dropped support for amd, so my question is are there any bugs to look out for or should I just give up? Any enb/ini tweaks to use and so on
