  1. I guess you're right. I only suggested this mod cause I was under the impression that Live Another Life was part of STEP, which I then checked. Turns out its not! This mod goes great with LAL though.
  2. I'm not a fan. I prefer the smooth rock texture of the vanilla stones versus this rough looking texture. It just looks too "grainy" in the comparison shots.
  3. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33051//? I really like this mod. It basically allows the player to choose whether they are Dragonborn or not. If they say yes, nothing changes. However, if they say no, then the main quest is adjusted slightly. The MQ becomes only playable up until the first dragon attack near Whiterun, after which the player becomes thane of Whiterun, and the dragons start appearing. However, you can no longer absorb dragon souls, all dialogue referring to you as Dragonborn is unspoken, and the MQ ends after you become thane of Whiterun.
  4. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25137/? This is a rather neat mod. I got annoyed by the fact that in vanilla Skyrim I could hardly kill anyone, yet I was reluctant to simply install a "de-essentialize everyone" mod, because of all the problems those mods can create. This mod is a neat compromise. NPCs remain essential up until the point the player completes their relevant quests. After that, they become killable. Not only that, this mod actually unlocks some (minor) hidden content, namely dialogue that would not previously arise because it would require the death of an essential NPC. I think this a good candidate for STEP, as its a fairly unintrusive feature that serves to make the game more immersive without (theoretically) breaking anything. The only problems I see arising is in the case of quest mods and such that might rely on certain NPCs remaining alive.
  5. The mod looks cool and well done, but I don't think its right for STEP. It's not a bugfix, and I don't think it can be called an improvement either. It doesn't make sense that when I raise a thrall from a corpse I just killed that his skin immediately disintegrates, and stuff.
  6. It now has a companion mod in Footsteps Sound Overhaul. FSO seems to also feature clanking armor sound effects, so that's worth noting.
  7. Oh, I did not notice that. I thought it said 2013. It has a lot of ITMs and UDRs as well.
  8. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8092//? Adds a few "pitfall" entrances to certain caves. Seems like a neat concept, though I haven't tested it yet. Also, first post! I've been browsing STEP for while though.
