Mod Organizer won't log into Nexus (tried every fix I could find)
GuyFarting replied to GuyFarting's question in Mod Organizer Support
This login to nexus error has been going on for a few months now. SSE release might now have helped the problem but its not the source. -
Okay I'm out of ideas on how to fix my problem. I am experienced in how to use Mod Organizer and have modded Skyrim, Fallout ect... for a long time and have not encountered a problem I could not troubleshoot. That said for a long time I have had the error in the top left of MO (not logged in to nexus). I tried fixing it before but I have been able to download mods through the nexus mod links anyway. MO would pop up with a not logged in message, after I tried downloading a mod a second time it would allow me to download it into MO download directory, until recently. It has now stopped working and I can't download anything. I get the "login failed, try again message" . I also get "failed to request file info from nexus bla bla bla :server replied: temporarily unavailable. This is across all my MO profiles, not just Skyrim. I know this is a password issue but can't fix it I have tried Making sure password and username under MO nexus tab is set properly (Its correct for sure. Can login onto nexus.com just fine.)Have changed password of both Nexus site and MO accordingly (didn't help)Associate with "download with manager" links in MO has been selectedHave followed Forum in Step titled " Google Chrome Can't Download from Skyrim Nexus using MO" Link https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4736-google-chrome-cant-download-from-skyrim-nexus-using-mo/ . None of the solutions fixed my problem, Firefox pointing toward NXM handler didn't work either.I have Nexus Mod Manager updated to latest version (0 .63 .4). MO does not recognize this. I typed version number in manually under workarounds in MO. It did NadaI have right clicked left field of MO to check all mods for updates, hoping it would refresh MO to login to nexus. It didn't work gave me login failed error.I click MO globe to see if that works. It brought me straight to Skyrim Nexus, logged in as wellChecked NXM handler and Skyrim is pointed to MO for skyrim and registered active.I have not reinstalled MO for any of my games because I have many mods installed. I doubt it would fix the issue anyway.I'm stumped I need help from anyone willing. Maybe I have not tried something that the community can point out. Thank you

Hiya been following Step forever and recently started playing Skyrim again. Â Saw your DDsopt guide updated and gave it a go. Â I'm pretty experienced using DDsopt to optimize mods and vanilla Skyrim in the past but I noticed somthing wrong during the Pre-Optimization batch file process that I am confused about. So is the Vanilla Ordinary textures folder supposed to have some normal map textures in it? Â The DDsopt guide says that all normal map textures (besides the uncompressed ones of course) are supposed to be put in the Vanilla Normal Maps folder via the Pre-Optimization batch file, but it didn't for me. Â I have a good amount of normal maps and msn.dds files in there including land textures. Just checking if this is an error on my end or if there's supposed to be some in there. Â HRDLC clean, HRDLC clean error, and log are all clear of errors (exept log text has 16 blank lines in it instead of 17.) Â Thanks in advance.Â

Even more confused now. I understand most of your directions but I feel like a Im missing a critical step somewhere. Should I be adding the blocklists of qotsafan compatibility Patches (Asis and T3nd0_Reproccer) to Documents\My games\Skyrim\Skyproc\ SUM mod blocklist. or im i deleting that. Im not understanding Iroha's last post of deleting the skyproc patchers folder. and for some reason duel sheath redex and automatic varients are back in my load order while also being in SUM. I think I'm killing my Skyim. RIP Boss for some reason is not recognising SUM.esp so thank you for showing me where to put that and how to rename reproccer Dragonborn.esp master to SUM.esp in Wyre Bash. I also noticed that the PostASISPatch.esp in qotsafans latest compatibility patch 3.6.9 doesn't have ASIS.esp or ASIS Dependency.esp as Masters for some reason. The older versions still have them as masters so I reverted to an older version. I also only have about 8000esp's (im just mesin up on everything) (; Thank you for trying to help me but I think im making things worse by misunderstanding your directions. -

I'm having some problems using SUM for all the Patchers in this guide. 1. Im not sure where to put SUM after I run the patcher ( should it be at bottem of load order or where reproccor.esp was located since you are supposed to renam it.) and for some dam reason after patching it keeps moving my Automatic Varients and Duel Sheath Redux esps to the bottem of the load order (I have Boss disabled in Sum) no idea why thats happening 2. When I tried to rerun Sum it keeps telling me that ReproccerDragonborn.esp is missing the Reproccer.esp as a master. I thought this was included in SUM now so I dont know why this is happening. 3. Should I be turning off the reproccer patches before I run SUM? It told me I had duplicate ID's once too. Never had a problem doing patches manually. 4. When I renamed Sum.esp to Reproccer.esp and later Reran Sum I assumed the new Sum.esp would overite the old SUM.esp renamed Reproccer.esp but it didn't should I just delete the old SUM and replace it. Does anybody have any advice? Sorry it's a year's worth of questions. New to SUM -

Thank you for the quick response it cleared any confusion for me. Moving the two red conflicts diagnolly into the new conditions was what had first occured to me (similar to wearable lanterns conflict fix) but I hesitated because it didn't look pretty (all green). -

Okay I need help with one of the TES5 Edit insturctions for Alternate Start Live Another Life. The very first edit with the Bethesda ESMs after you add two additional conditions under Alternate Start Live Another Life.Drag the two conditions from Hearthfires.esm to the two newly created slots in Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp so it contains all 4 conditions. I don't know which conditions to drag over at this point. For me I have 3 conditions under hearthfire.esm and 4 under Alternate Start Live Another Life.esp Heres a picture before I added two condition lines https://i.imgur.com/xCuQpFy.gif and here is a picture after I added the two condition lines under alternate start live anther life.esp https://i.imgur.com/Qbp5Efb.gif Not sure which conditions lines I should be draging over from Hearthfire.esm. to Alternate Start Live another life.esp now. Thanks in advance. -

Ok I see what happened. Mod Manager uses the same setup as Nexus Mod manager. So they have different numbers than wyre bash. I use Basic Crossbow selection, + Black Sacrament Armor and I see there is a patch for both in SkyRe ReProccer Compatibility Patches setup. should I use those as well? why inst the bring out your dead patch used in guide? Im also still confused about the post Asis and pre Asis patches. I Installed SkyRe enemy scaling module and combat module so should I use both (Im dont understand how the guide worded it)? Is there anything I need to add to the block lists for the reproccer, Asis and other Skyproc Patches. Thank you for your help. Never had to deal with Skyproc patches before so I get lost. Have to play 20 questions, sorry -

Ok I have tried to follow this guide but I'm really lost. Got up to number 13 (SkyRe ReProccer Compatibility Patches) and I just dont see the numbers you selected for this section,01-01 etc... Ive followed skyrim revisited guide and will be using ASIS If I can get this to work. I also use Wyre Bash not Mod organizer if that really changes things. The wizard doesnt show these numbers? Confused about pre Asis or Post Asis directions as well. Can you guys offer any advice. -
Thank you for the quick response, it was very helpful. Kinda happy to since all my mods with bsa's I unpacked and I dont have to waste time repacking them. So you recommend I take the skyrim DLCs and extract them from there BSA's format into loose files. (STEP Guide says this is not prefered, others say its not so brain fart) FYI I have no BSA files from user made mods Ive unpacked them all. (should Skyrims other original BSA's stay in their original format?(animations.bsa, meshes.bsa, interface.bsa etc...) I already optimized them with BSAopt and repacked them.

1. I have a DDsopt questions I hope you can answer, couldn't find them anywhere else. I have used DDsopt on all my skyrims textures but in the guide you use ddsopt on the official dlc's which include Meshes and scripts, sound files etc... and also have a guide to optimize all the vanilla bsa files. My question can you use ddsopt on meshes and other resources from user made mods (would there be any benifit, could this corrupt a .nif file in some way etc...) and what types of files besides .png files should be avoid optimization (such as a script file or even an .esp). 2. Second question refers to BSA files. The guide says to put the three Skyrim DLC's back into BSA format after optimization because it has multiple kinds of resources besides textures (meshes, sounds, scripts etc...) should this procedure be followed for all user mods that have multiple resources. Moonpath to Elswyer or Vilja in Skyrim as examples. 3. Would there be consequences if you didn't repack these mods into BSA format and just put them in Wyre bash as loose files. I'm sorry if these questions were in the guide and I just didn't understand it. Love STEP, thank you for the guides. Thank you for your time.:D
