Currently I have installed STEP Extended + REGS + MMO and so far it seems to be working well. Included in REGS I've installed JK's WHiterun. When looking certain directions, especially near the gate, I've noticed that there are large drops in framerate (55-25 and back up again). Generally, I run 45-60+ everywhere else. I've read that one possible fix for this is to remove all of the Ivy which was added by the mod. Is there a way to search for and mass delete all of a certain type of entry, in this case ivy, from the esp using TES5Edit?

Thanks for the response, Dreadflopp. I'll probably activate Smithing Perks Overhaul... Or I might redo my install with TTRSO... The more I'm reading about it, the more I start to think about switching.

I installed Step 2.2.9 + REGS + MMO and SPERG. It's looking really good so far. I'm working on trying out some things and finalizing my mod list before I get into a new game. I have a question regarding smithing. I haven't installed the smithing perks overhaul (although maybe I should). I've noticed that at level 1, I have access to a long list of steel smithing recipes. Is this expected, or is it a sign that I've got something installed incorrectly or in the wrong order? If I do install the smithing perks overhaul, then I need to disable SPERG smithing in the MCM, right?
