Oh, cool I'll know for next time! I moved everything including the .esm to the optional files and it works well in my game. No problems with the mod. -

You are absolutely right, the color I'm seeing is from the glowing ghouls. I tried re-installing FCO though with glowing ghouls unchecked and now the load screen doesn't load any option on the first page to launch the game. Pretty sure at this point that I'll try and go through a fresh install of the game again using your guide. Maybe I've changed too much to this point. Do you think that's a good idea or unnecessary? -

Yeah I'm just not sure what happened. If you read back you can see I was having VRAM issues with black holes opening up on the floors. EssArrBee recommended I disable Hall of Equipment. I did that and started a brand new game and it was working perfectly until I got on the road to Novac just past the Fancy Lads billboard when I came across a huge caravan(? seemed more like a pallet) led by three brahmin that weren't moving. You cannot get on top of it, but I think it's there to suggest supplies were on top of it for the Electric something or other coalition so they could fix a downed street light there. Then, I noticed that Legion and NCR fellows were having a battle there and that's when I had some major framerate drop issues. I finished off that battle struggling through the framerate issues and tried to continue on thinking that the brahmin or some broken textures in the area were causing the issue, but then my framerate kept staying the same unless I looked in a certain direction or straight up at the sky. My loading screens are taking forever too and as noted in a previous post I'm getting these large bright greenish yellow blots far away into the mountains. I'm sure it's not part of the game because they are not always there when re-loading the game and I've only seen them twice in two different locations. It's almost like a weird color sun texture that's in the wrong place. Weird issues. I have don't think this is a CASM problem because I only have about 30 something saves and deleted some too. I heard another person was experiencing problems with CASM at 150 something saves, so I don't think it's that. I'm going to try this mod that was suggested yesterday and I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm also thinking about starting another game and getting to the same point to see if the same issues arise. -

Tried it without any ENB or ENBoost (I just removed the d3d9.dll file). No luck, I made sure my graphics card driver were up to date and it was doing the AA effects as well. Something I keep meaning to mention, on two separate occasions now I'm seeing a bright greenish yellow light far away from my character is. It doesn't happen every time the game drops in FPS, but I feel like it's worth noting that whenever I do see it my FPS drops. The greenish yellow light is usually pretty far away which makes me think it might be something with the LOD? I might be grasping for straws here though. Thoughts? Thanks again for your help, this is driving me crazy haha. -

Macrostuttering is probably the best word to describe what the game is doing. I'll try that mod first thing in the morning and post here what I think. However, I think the issues I'm experiencing goes beyond FPS or cache issues. Not quite sure what it is because I haven't experience this type of thing in a game before. -

Not sure if it's AA effects that are causing the FPS drop in that area. I turned the AA effects off in enblocal.ini and had the same issue. Since my last post I've done a bit more research on ENBs though. I really didn't know anything about modding before I got to your guide. An ENB seems like it's just a filter with some tweaks here and there. I do not have that and due to that it probably makes ENBoost obsolete. Am I correct here or does ENBoost have other features that could be helping? Should I uninstall ENBoost? -

Yeah, I use ENBoost from your guide. I've really only had trouble with framerate with this one part of the game. Up to that point it's run pretty well after I fixed the VRAM issue. -

Hmm...I'll try it. My computer is pretty good, not sure why I'm having so much difficulty. Is it the graphic card that's holding me back? I think if anything it could be my CPU, but these older games don't use the CPU as much do they? I have an i5-4670k with a GTX 770 and 8 gigs of RAM. If this is as simple as a ram upgrade I can do that easily. -

I've disable Hall of Equipment already due to some VRAM issues. What else do you think would help? -

Hey all, So, I've been enjoying the game the last few days, but I've run into an issue that makes the game unplayable and I need help because I haven't been able to figure it out. I'm on my way to Novac where the three brahman caravans are all together, NCR and Legionaries are fighting and I receive a HUGE drop in framerate from then on. It only gets better if I look at the sky or the road, so something is rendering funky. I thought it may have been the armor because it only gets really bad when someone is on the screen, but before I started to untick plugins to find the culprit, I wanted to consult it with you all first. Anyone else have this issue? -

Perfect! I corrected the programs that were unchecked by Wrye Bash by unchecking them again and removed Hall of Equipment. Everything runs beautifully. Thanks for your help guys! -

Looks like the bashed patch took, these are the mods I have in my bashed patch (highlighted green or purple in Wrye Bash): ADAM Complete - Project Nevada Patch.esp Advanced Recon Tech - Detect Traps.esp boancrpahelmet.esp DeadMoneyFemaleTuxedo.esp DTO-ProjectNevada.esp FCO - Afterschool Special.esp FCO - Beyond Boulder Dome.esp FCO - Playable Races + Roberts Patch.esp FCO - The New Bison Steve.esp GRA-WRP-Patch-Two_Unofficial.esp ILO - Nevada Skies Patch.esp Improved Sound FX.esp MiscItemIconsNV.esp OWB Sonic Emmiter Fix.esp PNxEO MCMScriptFixes.esp Project Nevada - Med-X Fix.esp Roberts_NewVegas.esp WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp WMX-EVE-AllDLCMerged.esp YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Games + All DLC).esp If I should have more than this let me know. Without these 20 plugins I would be down to 128. I notice that they repeat in my active plugin list above. It's possible I may have seen these unchecked in the Plugins section of MO and checked them thinking I did something incorrectly. Will they still show in MO just unchecked? Should I just uncheck these plugins in MO? Separate issue, I've reinstalled the texture files. Hall of Equipment, NMCs Texture Pack and Poco Bueno (I did not touch Texture Over Time as it covers a smaller piece than the others do it seems). Interiors got better, but now I get those black holes in the wasteland. It actually seems that whereever I save the game loads perfectly, but once I leave that area, get through the load screen and into a new area everything is messed up. Not quite sure what to do now, I'm stuck on how to fix these texture and mesh issues. -

Yeah, I have LOOT installed separately, didn't even know there was a pre-installed version. Never paid attention enough I guess. Just read the guide and did what it said. I solved some of my texture issues. Re-installed NMCs Texture Pack. Still having issues with flickering and changing textures. Looks like some textures are loading where they shouldn't be. The black hole in the floor issue is gone now though. I'm probably just going to re-install all of the textures packs one at a time and hope for a miracle. Still no idea what I did with my plugins though to have some many of them. No glaring issues here huh? I'm also not sure what to do with the boxes that wont pop up (i.e. when I'm opening a cabinet or anything the box to put the loot in my inventory does not pop up, more issues than this specific situations, I get no pop ups). -

Hmm...I'm just running LOOT through MO and selecting Sort Plugins, then Apply. If there is more to it than that then I am doing it wrong. I just did it again to be sure and came up wioth the same result. To be honest though, I'm not sure those packs are my biggest issue.
