nevermind solved

nothing here -
Took a bit of reading between the lines to realize that I need to navigate to the GenerateFNISforUsers exe file in the folder by the same name, then add it in MO.

Hmm, I've now installed everything, and run BUM and BOSS. TES5Edit (which is starting to piss me off) is squawking that Bathing in Skyrim Main.esp requires master Realistic Water two.esp to be loaded before it. I've already created and saved that rule in BUM and verified that the needed esps were selected in the TES5Edit window, so what gives?

OK I think I've figure out what has been messing me up with TES5Edit. For those steps in the SR install process that call for running TES5Edit will all plugins checked, that is resulting in fatal exception errors for esps, like "RBB SR Merge.esp needs BFT Ships and Carriages.esp to be loaded before it." I just realized that I haven't yet installed BFT Ships and Carriages, so no wonder that is happening. These errors in TES5Edit are preventing me from making some necessary edits that the SR instructions call for. Basically, when the SR guide calls for "Open TES5Edit then click [OK] to load all currently activated ESPs." that seems to be resulting in these fatal exception errors like the RBB/BFT one, because BFT isn't yet installed. The stage of the SR install I am at now is finishing the Realistic Shelter install, which calls for this. I cannot complete this with TES5Edit throwing the fatal exception error, so I've unchecked both Bathing and Skyrim (it's missing Realistic Room Rental, which I haven't installed yet) and RBB SR Merge. TES5Edit loaded fine. Open TES5Edit and click [OK] to load all plugins. Right-click RSPatch.esp and select "Apply Script". In the drop down, select "RSPatcher" and click [Ok]. When the pop up message appears select [Create Patch]. Click [Yes] when prompted about adding masters to the patch. Exit TES5Edit and save RSPatch.esp. Finally, is this something that others have encountered? I wonder if the SR guide should be updated to discuss this possibility.

Looking in BUM I see that the orverride did save, and the that it comes after Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade. So the error if that's the right word is in TES5Edit telling me that it isn't. I've already run BOSS to sort. OK maybe this has someting to do with the issue. Ran BOSS and there are two warnings. Keep in mind that I'm not done with the SR install yet. 1nivWICCloaks.esp Version 2.3 ActiveBash Tag suggestion(s): {{BASH: Relev}}Warning: Use only one WICCloaks esp.Incompatible with: Cloaks of skyrim, get the compatibility patch in the WIC optional files.Forsworn-MTM.esp ActiveHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp Version 7.1 ActiveBash Tag suggestion(s): {{BASH: Delev, Relev}}imp_helm_legend.esp Version 1.11 ActiveNightingaleArrows.esp ActiveTavernClothes-MTM.esp ActiveComplete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.esp Version 1.6 ActiveCloaks.esp ActiveCloaks - Dawnguard.esp Active1nivWICCloaksCRAFT.esp Version 2.3 ActiveWarning: Use only one WICCloaks esp. Thanks re: multiple BUM sessions question My guess is that the rule DID save which is why the Override option is greyed out for 1nivWICCloaks.esp. But TES5Edit is complaining that that 1nivWICCloaks.esp requires Complete Crafting Overhaul Remaed.esp to load after it. That's the rule I created earlier and then ran BOSS so I am not sure how to address it. My first thought was to rerun the Override rule for 1nivWICCloaks.esp in BUM but greyed out makes me unable to do so.

I ask b/c I'm getting a TEST5Edit message that 1nivWICCloaks.esp requires Complete Crafting Overhaul Remaed.esp to load after it. I've already set that override rule earlier in the SR LE install process. I set the necessary rules for all the relevant esp files for that mod withing one BUM session. Is that correct? I created the rule, saved it, then repeated the process for all the esps, then closed/saved. I sure hope that BUM can accept multiple rules per session, and that I wasn't supposed to do one rule, save and then close. Then reopen and repeat for each additional rule. I noted this text by Neo, but I'm not 100% sure what that means: it may be required to arrange your unordered plugins to be able to save rules that use another rule defined by the user. Unsure how to troubleshoot that. There's nothing that I've found so far in the CUM help guide about greyed out override options. This is the text that appears in the field below 1nivWICCloaksCRAFT.esp in the Save Rule field IF FILE("1nivWICCloaks.esp") || IF FILE("1nivWICCloaksNoGuards.esp") && IF VAR(EN) WARN: Use only one WICCloaks esp.IF FILE("1nivWICCloaks.esp") || IF FILE("1nivWICCloaksNoGuards.esp") && IF VAR(RU) WARN: ИÑпользуйте только один WICCloaks esp.IF FILE("1nivWICCloaks.esp") || IF FILE("1nivWICCloaksNoGuards.esp") && IF VAR(ES) WARN: Utilizar solo un WICCloaks esp.

Edit- I didn't read the instructions before posting. Derp.

OK so this order I am guessing, based on the left pane in MO: RS Children Overhaul Books of Skyrim patch Merged Complete and USKP Patch for Falskaar Patch for Wyrmstooth PS Not the meta config file I assume, just the meshes and textures folders Also, the RSChildren Merged Complete and USKP.esp doesn't have any meshes or textures folders in its folder, so there's nothing to copy in that case it looks like.

[00:04] Background Loader: Fatal: <Exception: "RBB - SR Merge.esp" requires master "BFT Ships and Carriages.esp" to be loaded before it.> I set a rule in BUM that RBB SR Merge would load after BFT Ships and Carriages and then ran BOSS. Still getting above error. I looked around in the MO plugins and mod structure but didn't see either file to reorder. How can I solve this? Thanks. Edit- I haven't even installed the Better Fast Travel mod yet, since it's at the bottom of the SR page, so of course there is going to be an error. And it's not something that I can fix now. I wonder why TES5Edit just began throwing that error message since RBB SR Merge has been installed for awhile now. I cannot edit in TES5Edit until I deal with this error, and I am hoping to install all the files in the order that they are presented in the SR page. Maybe I can just unclick RBB SR Merge when I run TES5Edit? This is for the following step in the Immersive Patrols install: Manual TES5Edit Cleaning Required: Problem: Masters are sorted incorrectly, this can cause subtle problems in game. Solution: Sort masters. Open TES5Edit then click [OK] to load all currently activated ESPs. Right-click Immersive Patrols II.esp and select "Sort Masters". Click the [X] in the upper right hand corner, uncheck "Backup plugins", and click [OK].

Vividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp Vividian - Weather Patch CoT.esp Vividian - Extended Weathers.esp Vividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.esp Vividian - Torches Preset.esp Vividian - Wearable Lanterns Preset.esp They are checked but eariler I merged them into Vividian ENB.esp So I'm wondering if only this file should be the only checked Vividian esp file when I run TES5Edit, and more importantly, the only one active in MO. Edit- Actually, in MO left pane, for Vividian - Weather - Lighting Enhancement I do just see Vividian ENB Weather and Lighting Enhancement Vivid Color Version, Vividian Extended Weathers, and Vividian ENB (in that order)

This is the post-merge step that's needed: The merge script does not appear to copy the facegen data files properly for this merge. Manually copy mod assets to the merge directory in order.I notice that indeed the meshes and textures>actors folders are empty. My question is this: I have several RS Children mod folders: - Books of Skyrim Patch - RS Children Overhaul - Patch for Falskaar - Patch for Wrymstooth I am guessing that I will need to copy>paste the assets in the meshes, textures>actors folders into those folders in RS Children Merge. But I'm not sure of what order I should do so. And I want to verify that this is indeed what I should do. Thanks.

Thanks Grant. BTW should delete the original Realistic Water Two mod from the left column in MO once I've done this step: Post merge rename the output file RealisticWaterTwo - Merged to RealisticWaterTwo.esp to retain compatibility with patches Right now I've got a Realistic Water Two - Old (I added "old" so that I would be able to differentiate the two mods) and Realistic Water Two. As well as the Realistic Water - ENB Textures PS Sorry Danimal I marked your comment down b/c it would have been unnecessarily confusing if Grant hadn't addressed it, but I didn't intend to "dis" you personally. I'd undo it if I could.

Thanks for taking a shot at this. I replaced the Merged Plugin v1.9 with a fresh one in the Edit Scripts folder, just to be sure, and verified that the settings in TES5Edit are correct. But I still get the same damn result. 5 checked esps in the Save Changed Files window. At this point, I don't think it's user error on my part b/c I've followed the instructions to the letter, at least AFAIK. I've done this merge process in TES5Edit for every one mod so far in the SR install and it's worked perfectly. I think there might be an issue with the Realistic Water Two mod. It seems to ONLY be merging the Realstic Water Two Falskaar esp files, and none of the other ones. Can anyone assist?
