  3. Yeah, I can totally see how it can be done with a quest & a cloak spell, shouldn't be too hard to implement. Unfortunately my only real experience with coding was a java class in highschool years ago, so I think I will leave this in the hands of a true professional like yourself. Good luck with it! :D

  5. I think the reason its done as a race edit instead of a quest spell is so that it affects NPCs as well as the player. I honestly don't know enough about modding, not sure if its possible to have something initialize after being unbound or whatever like other mods but also have it affect every single npc in the game. Maybe someone else could shed some light on that? I'm intrigued now, haha.
  6. I was wondering if you took a look at DSPSOB yet. I was thinking of making a jaysus swords / immersive weapons patch, but if you're gonna rewrite the whole thing I probably wont bother until its out.
  7. Earlier on in the thread there was some discussion about overhauls like SkyRe being added in. Now that the bulk of the mods are updated to dragonborn, will you be looking at overhauls like that?
  8. Noticed moss rocks updated a couple of times, but the new version isn't dynamic anymore? Is the 1.0 gonna stay in SR then?

  10. I had it enabled for a bit without any problems. I didn't really like the changes though and decided to switch back. You can just put it in right after the other character improvement mods in the guide, before animations
  11. So I just finished adding all of the Dragonborn weapons and shields to DSPSOB, and it seems to be working completely with vanilla skyrim + the 2 expacs. I'm not really sure what to do with it now though... I'd like to share it with everyone but I dont know what the protocol is on that. I didn't do it as a patch, I did it as a straight upgrade to the mod. Any thoughts?
  12. I just spent like 2 hours tinkering with DSPSOB trying to get the dragonborn weapons to work with it. I followed the video exactly but the best I could manage was to have the left handed weapons floating stuck to my feet. Its a mess, I feel like the script is gonna have to be re-written for it to work correctly and thats more than I know how to do unfortunately.
  13. Oh I also noticed left handed rings is gone from the guide, but you still list the steps required to have left handed rings show up in first person under the DSPSOB section.

  16. Had a question about Serious HD retexture. The SR guide says version 1.2.3, but the latest version on nexus is 2.0, is that just an oversight or is 1.2.3 better in some way?
  17. Just wanted to say that I've been using SkyTEST's animal behavior file only with the SR setup, and its been working great, no CTDs for me.
  18. Is there some place explaining how to determine if a mod makes wild edits or doesn't forward stuff from the official patches? Im using some extra mods and want to clean them in the same way, but don't really know how to go about it. Is it as simple as loading them up with the main bethesda files and unofficial patches then expanding every node looking for red sections, then fixing them? I feel like that might not be right...
  19. BSAs are always overridden by loose files and as such will not properly overwrite anything loose that came before it. There are 2 conditions that mention Arcadia. The first one mentions it in the first column under Skyrim.esm. The second one in the third column under Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp. They are both red so just wanted to confirm you only meant the second one?Correct.. NEVER EVER get rid of anything in Skyrim.esm ;) Let me say that again, NEVER EVER touch anything in Skyrim.esm. hahah welp
  20. Is there any real difference in leaving .bsas unpacked vs extracting them besides ease of changing their contents?
  21. I'm getting pretty bad slow-downs in game upon going outside and occasionally in bigger interiors like dungeons. Its immediately fixed by alt tabbing then going back into the game though. Any idea what causes that?
  22. What do you guys use for AA in the game? Force it through your video cards?
  23. Oh, that makes sense. I was dragging over a lot of folders from my NMM download folder into MO folder when switching it all over.
  24. Oh, yikes. Mod organizer just changed the priority of a whole bunch of my mods somehow, screwing up alot of the work I did with the retextures. I think it was because I hit refresh, but I cant imagine why it would change the priority of a bunch of mods at once. Any idea what I did wrong?
