Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
hazelwolf replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Neo, because you apparently cannot simply change from Frostfall 2.6 to 3.0 mid-save do you think it's worth integrating Campfire into the guide now or wait until after 3.0 has been released? -

Have you tried Forgotten City out yet Neo? Think it's worth including alongside Wyrmstooth and Falskaar? -

I just let LOOT place it where it thought best. The RSChildren patches can be merged with the rest as can the ones for EFF. Like I said, big mod with questlines and characters I haven't met yet so if there are any conflicts I haven't found them yet. -

I've been using them together along with Inconsequential NPCs for a while now. You will need some patches but as far as I am aware they work fine together. Although others may have experienced differently. They are big mods with lots of content that may well run afoul of problems during quests or at certain locations. -

Hopefully mergeable with CACO patches. Dammit I am seriously having to get mercenary with my non-SRLE mods at this rate to avoid plugin overload :P -

I can see a lot of mods having to go through a revision when USLEEP comes out. The current USKP is a master for a fair number. -

I really hope new Frostfall and Campfire aren't a pain to integrate. Both of them have patches associated with them from other mods and they are basically the only things holding me back from a new game. Sod Fallout 4. Skyrim is the game I can't wait until november to play XD -

I haven't actually got out of the character creation dungeon properly for the past three months :P I'm planning on recording my next playthough and don't want to break it; so I'm holding out until Chesko has worked his magic (and squashed any bugs). It's been pretty frustrating all told as I can't wait to get my teeth stuck into roleplaying this particular character. On the plus side, though, it does mean I've had opportunity to test certain features out when I foray out into the main world. It's also given me plenty of opportunity to tweak my character appearance to my satisfaction so all I need to do is load the race menu profile when I'm ready to press New Game. -

Not changing mod load order between saves is usually a good golden rule, however I've not encountered any major problems with altering those patches. My advice would be if you have a stable game then preserve that by renaming the mods used to prevent accidental overwriting and then make a separate up-to-date profile following any guide updates. That way you have one you can actually play and another you can experiment with. Currently I am holding off on anything short of bug and play testing until Frostfall and Campfire are properly integrated (and possibly Last Seed) after that I'll be leaving well alone barring mods that are safe to update. It almost seems to be the case that you can either mod or play but never both :P -

How many plugins should be merging through the bashed patch in SRLE? -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
hazelwolf replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
The difference your mod makes compared to vanilla is breath-taking. That timelapse on Whiterun is awesome. So how big of a change is it going to be between 1.45 and the next update? -

And with Frostfall 3.0 due in the next few weeks I'm actually holding off my latest playthrough until they are all in place. There are a few that may need to be retweaked for FF -

A few of those tweaks actually sound appealing in and of themselves. If they could all be merged together into some Falskaar+ Wyrmstooth patch, that would be cool. -

I'd hold off until he adds Notice Board. That might require a re-run of DynDOLOD -

Same. There were also no errors merging the CACO patches. -

Oooh. So we're looking at a possible replacement for iNEED as well as an alchemy enhancement. Nothing mentioned about thirst, though. -

Just been comparing the two versions of the Moonlight Tales mod (Overhaul and Essentials) I'm just curious why it is the former is favoured over the latter. I know it has a number of extra features but the occasional bugginess of it compared to what essentials is supposed to fix is making me tempted to try the pared down version for my new playthrough. -
Bathing in Skyrim - MCM Menu Issue
hazelwolf replied to AiKiXeN's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
I encountered this exact same issue myself. Turned out I was using an older version of TES5Edit. An update and reinstall fixed it along with some other issues. Not sure if this will help you but give it a try? -

This looks like it might be worth keeping an eye on for when the relevant compatibility patches become available https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68454/? A lighting overhaul mod that turns lanterns and outdoor lighting off during the day. For more IMMERSIONTM -

I just gave it a go and aside from having to reset my character's eyes in the racemenu (The empty sockets. The horror. The horror!) It works fine. -

I'm keeping an eye out for Chesko's Last Seed mod to complement Frostfall and Campfire when it comes out. -

Oh hey. Realistic Needs and Diseases is back. Still seems that iNeed is the more straightforward mod of this type but nice to know it's getting some support again. -

He has replied that it is an issue with TES5Edit and Zilav apparently says it will be fixed in the next update. No idea when that will be, though. -

Reinstalling TES5Edit and the merge scripts fixed the issue. Thanks for the help.
