Hello, I am just getting back to setting up Skyrim and am a bit confused as to what version of DDSopt we are suppose to be using. In the OP for this thread "BOTH" links (GET DDSopt (Github) and DDSopt (Nexus)) link to Ethatron's/ddsop download page my guess is for downloading DDSopt_v080pre5b-SSE3.zip, Uploaded October 16, 2012. On the Wiki Guide ... it links to the Nexus page of DDSopt - pre-release - update 4, 1:31, 31 January 2013/version 0.8.0.upd4 (I guess this date is just a reuploaded of that version on his Github site dated October 10, 2012) The ini file posted on the wiki page says "have been verified against v8.0 Update 4" So my question is this thread is now evaluating DDSopt_v080pre5b? and any current postings to this thread are in regards to that evaluation... ? For current optimization of Skyrim Textures just follow the wiki using the version 0.8.0.upd4 from Nexus page ?

I am currently using the 13.2 Beta 3 drivers (just downloaded the 13.2 Beta 5 drivers) concerning caps... you are NOT suppose to use 12.11 CAP 2 with the Beta drivers. The caps are built into the Beta drivers. For the caps to show up in the new catalyst ui you need to click on add, then point to the game .exe (ie TESV.exe) once you do that the crossfire profiles will appear. The 12.11 CAP 2 is to be used with the 13.1 release. I am not sure any of this has changed I have not installed the new beta yet. Also, word of warning on using the new AMD uninstaller... if your system is a full AMD system it will remove everything! not just the display stuff. I found out the hard way when I used it before installing the 13.2 beta 3 driver .

@ Kelmych Thank you :facepalm: I must have "looked at" (not read) that a dozen times, before posting my question. I was looking for blue italic text (at least I think it was) that was above the table the last time I looked at it.

Hello, I have a question about a page (sub-page) in the wiki: "Guide: DDSopt & Texture Overhauls/Mod Optimization" In the Notes column, I can not find the Notes which are being referred to. I remember seeing them before...
