Well so far so good. I used Live another life to start out as a stormcloak and proceeded to the battle at whiterun. Somebody managed to set the outer walls of whiterun on fire during the battle. The flames almost killed me. I used ice spells to put them out though. It was HUGE fun. CWO is running great. I haven't had any issues yet, unlike 1.1- Even with 200+ mods running with it. Immersive Settlements caused some pathing issues but it was minor. My FPS took a hit though- went as low as 30ish at some points, but I get these drops sometimes near places added with immersive settlements regardless of what's going on. I was able to win the battle and move to the next step in CWO without using the console (lol for the 1.1 issues thankfully gone) I did a little trade off due to scripts. I traded in Platyer headtracking and Wet and cold for Apollo's mods to lessen the impact somewhat of constant scripts running. I also ditched many texture packs to lessen CTDs. (every one I kept I used DDsopt or downloaded the "lite" version) So far so good.

Civil War Overhaul 2.0 has been released. It allegedly fixes all the bugs present from 1.1. Reports from the forums have been light though. Anybody start a new game with it? I am going to start a new game with all three of his mods. DCO, CWO and the new fire and ice overhaul mod. Its going to be Skyrim Revisited (all mods updated) + SkyRe and ASIS installed with the STEP guide.

SKYRIMLE Extensible Follower Framework (by Expired)

I tend to run with 1 or 2Â companions only. Anything other than that and the game becomes too easy regardless of difficulty. I like how EFF manages the companions I do have at any given moment. That wheel is great. -

I asked expired about releasing the patch for Interesting NPCs and he said: Somebody asked about Interesting NPC support in the Interesting NPC forum and kristakahashi said the following: So it does not sound too good. Should have kept the old version :( -

It would be great if we can get hold of that patch :) -

Having issues with the beta 5 and Interesting NPCs version 3.0 Standard mode does not work, using classic. Interesting NPCs won't dismiss unless I use the vanilla dialogue. If I dismiss using EFF they continue to follow When I tell them to "Relax", they "wait" instead. -
SKYRIMLE Sleeping and Fast Travel Dangers - Sands of Time

I have to say I like what he has done with this mod. The encounters walking or in dungeons are well done. This mod is as script heavy as it gets. To get around this the mod author has instituted some very creative workarounds, all which you can see in action through the extensive MCM menu. He staggers the scripts, so they are not all running at once. You can see the main ones flip on and off at regular intervals so as a whole there ARE a lot of scripts running, but not all at once. You can also set yourself the delay time for much of the scripts. So you have the option of tuning it down as much as you like. There is also a lore friendly toggle now which disables stuff that many of us would not find lore friendly like treasure chests from NPCs. All in all I like what I see so far. -

This mod has received an update to version 6.5 and I am going to test with a new game. Going to run with ASIS (perks, spells, potions), Immersive Creatures and Immersive Patrols. I ditched DFB - Random Encounters - MCM Update (overkill since Sands of Time increases random encounters and I can play with settings in MCM menu) and OBIS Bandits (Author says OBIS is not compatible) Will report back on stability. -

Extensible Follower Framework v4-0-0 Beta 5 : Major version update, NMM disabled because you probably won't be able to update normally and this is a beta. You will need to dismiss all followers and cleansave. Sounds juicy! So how do you suggest updating from Beta 4? Here's what I suspect would be the best method: Dismiss all followers then save. Exit and Use the Merge function in MO to update to Beta 5. Done. Or should we dismiss all followers. Save. Exit and then install Beta 5 cleanly. (not merge) Then completely remove Beta 4. -
I would also add that OP as far I could see before posting this did not provide load order or list of mods installed. I (and others) have found that some mods installed can increase ILS. Now there is nothing wrong with the following mods- they are not buggy as part of a smallish mod list. At 230 esp's though I found that some very heavy script heavy mods increased my Infinite load screens. The biggest culprit for me had no scripts at all. Any mod that increased your LOD distance terrain. Followed by Wet and Cold and Player Head-tracking. These two are constantly running in the background. I replaced Wet and Cold with "get snowy" and just left off the others. ASIS increased spawns also was not friendly to me, but that appears to be more CTD related. Now I started a new game because removing wet and cold mid game is not healthy for your save!

You should get rid of your ini's and let the game start you from scratch. See if you can load. in your Skyrim.ini I found the following tweaks helped me with ILS: [Papyrus] iMinMemoryPageSize=256 iMaxMemoryPageSize=512 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=2457600 This helped me too https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//? In the ENBLocal.ini set: DisablePreloadToVRAM=true

You know with my rather large MOD list of 227 active esp's I have found a more stable solution than ASIS for increased spawns. DFB - Random Encounters - MCM Update https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32394/? It has no compatibility issues with immersive patrols as part of a Skyrim Revisited install + extras. I find where it really has an edge over ASIS with its less heavy scripts and so less CTD's. It also has a great MCM menu where you can customize most anything. The author is adding support for Dragonborn and Falskaar in the next update. Its the same person who makes immersive creatures.
