  1. I'm not talking about the steps, GPU load is something different, it is how much workload the GPU has while rendering. The problem is, that without ENBoost I have much more balanced GPU load, which also means that the fans don't spin up as much as when it has a constant 100% load. As soon as I add ENBoost to Skyrim, the GPU goes to a constant full load, like when your run Furmark for stress testing, which means GPU temperature and fan rpm goes up, which means more noise. Essential, ENBoost doesn't make a real difference with my current ini settings, I was just curious if it is the normal behavior of ENB to put as much pressure on a GPU as a stress test benchmark. One good thing came out of trying ENB though, I discovered that ASUS had done a pretty bad job regarding seating the cooler, the GPU was insulated with cooling paste, so temperatures where 20C higher than now after I reseated it and applied the proper amount and quality of paste. It was actually that bad that colors started to tear and stretch across the rendered images.
  2. How much load should ENB Boost put on the new lineup of AMD cards? What ever I use a full ENB or just the Boost, GPU load always spikes to 100% My current driver version is 13.12 WHQL i7 2600k 32GB RAM AMD R9 280x 4 SSD disks
  3. As I recall there where 3 OS related updates in total for the entire live spawn of Windows 7 to 8.1 that gave some gamers issues. So I have to disagree with your advise, at least security updates should always be installed upon release. Optional updates should always be reviewed. Running on a fully updated Windows 8.1 Pro x64 here and no issues at all. I hope everyone with issues has Windows automatic driver installation and update disabled.
  4. Vivid Landscape - All in One should be used instead. VL files should not be overwritten by other mods either, so if you want to compare both meshes and according textures need to be replaced, in sets, so you avoid overlapping between regular and parallex.
