  1. thanks, you two. I went to the bug genie and found a couple of similar requests so I just up-voted those and added my 2 cents to one. thanks again!
  2. I hope this is the correct place to make a suggestion/request. If anyone knows a better forum, please let me know. I understand the current features (categories, filtering and the new grouping), but what I think would be cool would be to somehow be able to color-code the rows in both panes. That way I can visually group mods and esp's however I want by making their rows/cells the same color, and I think it would be easier on the eyes to view the mod list that way. I imagine the options would be 3 different shades of each of the primary and secondary colors and also a black, gray, and white (so a total of 21 color/shade options). That's all I can think of for now.
  3. no, on the first page (of the installer) the top option was selected and then the third from last was selected. I was just wondering if we should pick the rlo option if we're following neovalen's guide, but he changed his guide to specify which options he recommends. thanks!
  4. k. thanks. I just left enb manager open between steps and then saved and closed the enblocal.ini at the end and then closed the enb manager. I'm hoping that I didn't need to "save" anything else before closing out the enb manager :P I checked and the enblocal.ini was saved to the enb manager and not to the ENBTemp folder, which seems right. thanks again!
  5. the installer has 2 pages at the beginning that do not seem to be included/mentioned in neovalen's guide. I can assume/guess which options to choose, but would like some confirmation :) on the 1st page, should we pick the RLO special edition? or since neovalen doesn't use the complete RLO then are we free to pick whatever we want? and are there any recommendations regarding the last 3 options on the 1st page? what does "the latest generation of graphics cards" mean? and I personally do not like Depth of Field so the last option is appealing to me, but I don't want to lose out on other features.... and there is no option on the 3rd page for NO Depth of Field, only for "little". as for the 2nd page, I'm guessing to pick ELE - FX Effects - Interior, ELE - Interiors - Legendary Edition, and ELE - Relight Skyrim Color Patch. again, some confirmation from anyone who knows would be appreciated. :) thanks!
  6. Hi. Regarding your instructions under the "ENB Series Graphics Modification" section: you mention to open the enb manager and then mention to open it again without having mentioned to close it. I am not familiar with the program so I am just wondering if it is necessary to close the enb manager between steps. also, at the end of the section, it is not mentioned whether we should close and save the enblocal.ini and/or the enb manager. thank you
  7. k, so just to clarify: I don't actually need to have RelightingSkyrim.esp in my load order, right?
  8. could someone please explain the relighting skyrim instructions for me? an alternate download is given which only contains one esp, RelightingSkyrim-Full.esp the instructions say that for the BOSS Masterlist Update RelightingSkyrim-Full.esp AFTER Relighting Skyrim.esp yet no Relighting Skyrim.esp is provided so am I to get Relighting Skyrim.esp from nexus, then? thanks in advance
  9. @nozzer66 - thanks. yeah, I was hoping that there would be a way around having to check them manually :P @grantsp - sounds like that's the way then. I had considered doing that in the past but it threw me off because I was afraid that ignoring the update would potentially ignore any and all new files that the mod author might upload for that mod. guess I should have done a search to see exactly what that feature does instead of just assuming, because now i see that the wiki guide clearly says "Ignore update Ignores the current update notice. If the mod updates again, you will be notified.".... thanks
  10. So when I download mods, Mod Organizer shows which version I have downloaded. For example, I just downloaded Extensible Follower Framework version 4.0. Mod Organizer correctly shows 4.0 but shows it in red, and says it is not the newest version (even though it is - the mod author just has it listed a little lower than the 3.5.6 files on the downloads page, for whatever reason). Anyway, Mod Organizer says that the newest version is 3.5.6 and that even though 3.5.6 "seems to be older than" 4.0, I still "may want to 'upgrade'." I've tried right clicking and "Change versioning scheme", but going through that ends up being futile as it results in not changing the versioning scheme. I would like to be able to have Mod Organizer show the correct newest version in green, but to also notify me when the mod author uploads even newer files by then showing the version in red. So these are open questions to anyone who wants to answer: Does the version scheme work the same for you, am I doing something wrong, or is there maybe a better way to handle (or think of) the versioning scheme?
  11. I just tried to register with the issue tracker and couldn't get past the part where I'm supposed to verify that I'm not a robot.... edit: nvm. refreshed page and tried again.
  12. Thanks all for your replies!
  13. Yeah, I had stupidly disabled TES5 from saving backups cuz i was tired of moving them from the Overwrite folder....
  14. I just tried Recuva a couple of hours ago. It did supposedly find the file and said it was in excellent condition, but TES5Edit and the CK refused to open it, lol! I think I'm just gonna have to start over again. That's what I get for unchecking the Save Backups box in TES5.... I just got tired of the TES5EditBackups folder always going to the Overwrite mod and getting the warning triangle in MO telling me there were files in the Overwrite folder. Course, there's probably a way to fix that too. I suppose I should check into that next! thanks!
  15. Whenever I've deleted a file through the MO UI, I've never been able to find it in my Recycle Bin.
  16. Is there any way to restore items that have been "Removed" (i.e. deleted) from the Overwrite Mod? I'm thinking like when I delete a file from my computer, it goes to the Recycle Bin where I can go and restore it if necessary. So do mods that are "Removed" from MO go somewhere where I can restore them?
