  1. k. I've got weird lines around the metal bands. Looking at it closer it's like the texture is "off". I've tried without the Skyrim Realistic Overhaul texture, too, and it's still off. edit: well, whatever my problem was, I fixed it in nifskope. basically deleted the barrel mesh (but not the lids) from Animated Clutter, then pasted SMIM meshes in (and also added the necessary links). And even better: I get SMIM textures, too, which are better than SRO! Already tried it out in-game and the barrels are friggin' beautiful! (I'm so proud)
  2. Does anyone else have weird-looking barrels? The barrel from Animated Clutter appears to have a weird mesh. I've reverted to the SMIM barrel.
  3. edit: nevemind. I was in the CK working on a different mod, didn't have the Content Addon esp loaded, and noticed that Vilkas was wearing wolf armor with brown fur. That threw me off.
  4. hey Neo, do you plan to do one of your FOMOD Instructions boxes for Audio Overhaul?
  5. ugh. I REALLY don't like the search feature in forums. I honestly try to find answers to my questions first instead of just asking. But doing a search for a term will NOT net the same results as searching for the same term, but with an "s" on the end. I have already mentioned this, but I just now found out that a post also won't show up in a search even if it contains a quote that DOES have the relevant term.... For example, someone asked about the mod and used the term "Even Better Quest Objectives". Neo quotes that post but then himself only used the term "EBQO" in his response, and so his response post NEVER shows up in the search for "quest objectives".... The only reason I saw Neo's post regarding EBQO is because I was searching for an answer regarding a different mod and happened upon that post where Neo was responding to multiple queries (and the EBQO reply was in the same post). ANYWAY, minos55, the point IS that I actually (edit: accidentally) found a post from Neo which states that the reason he isn't including EBQO in his guide is because it needs updating. On a side note - lol, I realize that the guide itself probably requires enough of Neo's time and effort , but it would be cool if there were a link in the guide to a list of mods that are NOT included in the guide along with why they are excluded. I KNOW - there are a TON of mods out there and I'm not saying that the list should include everysingleone - just the ones that people ask about here. So, like, when someone asks about EBQO, Neo can say "I don't include it because (whatever) so would you please add that mod and my reasoning to the exclusion list." It could be a page that is totally kept up by users so as not to add any more work for Neo. Just a thought. I don't know if it's actually feasible or not.
  6. Neo, mature skin texture has v2 beta 6.
  7. Neo, you recommend the UNPB body and choosing "T/BBP or Bouncing". You also recommend the HDT mod and statmonster's armor mod for UNPB-BBP. Do you recommend those because they provide bouncing boobs and butts? I ask because I'd rather not have bouncing boobs and butts.
  8. I just typed in "quest objectives" and read some of the posts. looked to me like there were a lot of compatibility issues with that mod, so I'm assuming that it was too much trouble.
  9. yeah, neo instructs to download all of the main files from the aMidianBorn Book of Silence mod. one of those files is called aMidianBorn book of silence_UNIQUE ITEMS. that's the file that wrongly places the staff of magnus meshes into meshes/staffofmagnus (instead of meshes/weapons/staffofmagnus).
  10. no, it's from the Unique Items file. instead of meshes/staffofmagnus, should be meshes/weapons/staffofmagnus (if you installed the weapons file according to neo's instructions then there won't be anything in the meshes folder for that file anyway) you could also just download the hotfix from the mod page if you want.
  11. try this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1800/? edit: or this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/1367/?
  12. Neo - kryptopyr confirmed the missing staff hotfix, so I added your old line back to the guide. I hope that's ok.
  13. if you are asking me, then yes, I found comments that pretty much answer my question about why that mod is no longer in the guide :)
  14. nevermind.... only searched "quest objective", not "quest objectives" (with an "s")
  15. I don't see "Even Better Quest Objectives" in the guide, but when I search this forum I notice that there are a couple of comments related to that mod and those comments make it sound like it was included in the guide at one time. I'm just curious as to why it is no longer included.
  16. lol, you guys are scaring me! I haven't tested out dungeons yet, but I picked the "nights and interiors of doom" on the vividian install and now I'm wondering if I should've just gone with neo's suggestion. (I find that I quite often realize that I should've just followed neo's guide. hm. imagine that....) :P
  17. k. I checked the esp, too, to see if maybe the staff's model path was changed to match erred model path, but no. guess we'll wait for kryptopyr. tanx!
  18. Neo, I see that the new aMidianBorn Content Addon includes the Bonemold Hotfix and I see that they SAY it includes the Staff of Magnus Hotfix, but I'm just not seeing the fix for the Staff of Magnus in the Content Addon.
  19. omg lol, TOTALLY read "Inigo"....
  20. TES5Edit Run TES5Edit and a window will pop up with all of your ESM's and ESP's, right-click in that list and "Select None". Find "Inigo.esp", check the box, and then the "OK" button. After Inigo is loaded, expand the Inigo.esp in the left pane. Find and expand the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" category and then select the Inigo record. In the right pane, look less than half-way down the page and you'll see a couple of lines with the word "Essential". Click on the top "Essential" line, a window will pop up with a count-down and asking if you're sure you want to edit - click yes. A list will pop up with a bunch of check boxes, un-check the Essential box. Close TES5Edit (by clicking the red "X" at the top right corner and then the "OK" button to save the esp. that should work unless Inigo is also set to essential in a script somehow
  21. All I know is what I read from the sticky: "- To have NPC's use different weapon placements - EFF4 -> Wheel Menu -> Tattoos, RM opens with the NPC -> Weapons -> ... Style, Works for any NPC that uses the skeletons in the default location other followers need their skeleton replaced manually with an XPMSE2 one first." Other than that I can't help because I'm only just now installing the skeleton and haven't yet reached RaceMenu in Neo's guide. Sorry!
  22. read sticky note on xp32 page :) edit: nm - those instructions look just like what neo said
  23. To add to what Neo said, EFF is one of the few multiple follower mods that is still being maintained. Simple Multiple Followers is another. And also FollowerLivePackage.
  24. I highly doubt that Neo differentiates between uppercase and lowercase when specifying file names, so I would assume that you would not install goldringamethyst_1.nif according to Neo's instructions. However, if you are saying that file is not actually included in Gemling, then that may be an oversight in the guide. I'm not that far into the guide right now, so I can't concur.
  25. Install all Options (default) has my vote
