  1. yes. I'm tired of opening the CK outside of Mod Organizer in order to compile my scripts. Which is why I'm attempting to do the SDK thing. Just looking for some answers since it is not working for me. As I've stated, it does not default install to Program Files (x86) like Neo says in the guide. It default installed into Program Files. So I tried to follow the rest of Neo's instructions, navigating to Program Files (instead of PFx86), but doing the corflags command gives me an error. I thought I'd ask here, though I'm still trying to figure it out on my own when I have time. So, really, I'm just happy if ANYONE has any ideas or suggestions. thanks
  2. ok, but neo says that we only need this if we have 64 bit, then goes on to say that it should default install into Program Files (x86). Or am I reading that wrong?
  3. hey neo, any advice on the sdk stuff? mine wants to default install into Program Files, not Program Files (x86) and I'm assuming that it's not as simple as changing the installation to the (x86) folder, right?
  4. @Nearox - I've found that whenever Neo says "main" he's talking about files under the "Main Files" heading of the mod download page. :) edit: I see that in Immersive Patrol's case all of the files fall under the "Main Files" category. Anyway, if I had a million dollars, I'd bet on DLC Aggressive.
  5. now I've realized that it is NOT installing into Program Files (x86). it keeps wanting to install into Program Files.
  6. that seems to have worked. thanks!
  7. I mean, the *installation* failed
  8. i too am at the windows sdk part. tried dl'ing just the .net development section and the dl failed.
  9. extracted or bsa, what's the difference? still redundant and just taking up space, no?
  10. I'd be interested to hear what settings others use, if that would be ok here.
  11. yes, tony has also confirmed this a while back apparently this happens with STEPs optimization process, as well
  12. the optimized textures for the 3 dlc's are redundant because any of the textures worth optimizing are also included in the HRTP's. so just remove the redundant ones - they're just wasting space.
  13. I had better luck searching the term "perma" Posted by Neovalen on 08 March 2015: "Perma, I think, needs more maturity time." Posted by Neovalen on 31 March 2015: "Still don't think it's ready for prime time in the guide. Its still got many unresolved bugs and the compatibility spider web is seemingly atrocious. Wasn't PaMa supposed to reduce the number of patches required? PCaPP is a good resource but damn..." Posted by Neovalen on 07 May 2015: "Balance wise I'm not sold on PerMa itself just yet..." and also, according to my search results, it appears that there is a forum around here somewhere for using perkus maximus with neo's guide.
  14. not sure about hunterborn, but I'm pretty sure that neo has addressed his thoughts on perkus maximus. probably would show up with a search here in this forum.
  15. I didn't install the Windows SDK. Instead, I just open up the CK outside of Mod Organizer and do my scripts that way, then move them to MO mod folder. They seem to work fine.
  16. Well if there was a chance that isoku might adapt a system similar to Chesko's, I'd think it's probably a fart in the wind now....
  17. I haven't had a chance to fully use her mods, but one of the things I've read is that it's best to not use the utilities one unless you want all of the features. Also, I think you can even move bookshelves and mannequins and lights, too, with the positioner mod. I have that one and her map markers mod in my load order but, like I said, haven't fully tested them. A couple of things I noticed about plucking containers from the world and putting them into my inventory - 1) the container's weight did not reflect it's contents (meaning that you could put 10k units of weight into a barrel, put the barrel into your inventory, and not be encumbered) and 2) if the container is marked to respawn, then the contents can change from one location to another. Also, regarding the positioning mod, would it not be better for save games to do major decorating in the CK? That's something I've been wondering about.
  18. Neo, updating Dual Wield Improved Animation. You say "Optionals: Blocking for Dual Wield Parrying" There are 2 files in the mod's optional section. I assume you are referring to the first one, no? It doesn't say "Parrying", but the 2nd file says it was made "special for Immersive First Person View", which is why I'm thinking you mean that we should DL the first optional file. Would you please clarify for me? tanx! Neo's instructions only say to install the stars. You could probably install one of the galaxies if you want to try it out. I can't say why Neo doesn't include a galaxy but I assume that it's either personal preference or maybe there are issues with the galaxies or maybe there are issues with the ENB and the galaxies. I DID try out one of the galaxies a while back, but I really noticed a big seam in the sky that I think was attributed to the new galaxy style. It was also too colorful for my tastes.
  19. is that a hockey puck or stick? :P sorry, typo made me lol
  20. I got to the "no shields" point as well and was like "that's stupid, that's not immersive". but I decided to read further and then realized it was a joke. but it's not the 1st here yet, so I didn't make that connection....
  21. I haven't started the conflict resolution part yet, but ^this^ sounds like my situation. plus I will have other mods that are not in the guide. my thinking would be that you should make the conflict resolution page into a how-to guide with some examples/pictures/videos, but nothing that you would have to keep up-to-date, therefore freeing up your time for other things.
  22. scripts.rar contains both, so extract both folders (DialogueViews and Scripts) right there into your Data folder.
  23. in our data folder. dialogue view folder and scripts folder are now gone and in script.rar edit: o sorry, was replying to your original question mark
  24. hmmm. with latest update from steam, should we unpack scripts.rar?
