Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

I doubt you missed the thread Neo, But Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade by Kryptopyr now has patches for almost all of SR-LE I think :) Could be nice addon to complement WAF and CCO, hope you feel that way at least lol. -
Of course Jake, sorry if my information was lacking, 1st I suppose I should have mentioned I used the Better version and not the normal version, so there could already be a difference right there. The problem is in the section VMAD ( virtual machine adapter ) in which the script is set out for Non Automatic Skills Books. I will not note them all, but one you could check for reference is the "The Black Arrow v.2" The 3rd FormID reference there is giving the error: [02000D64] All other script entries on the other books ( except for several others ) have "Player [00000014]" as Form ID. Hope this was a little better...
-
Hello, just a heads up if anyone is making a patch between Book Covers and NonAutomatic. - several of the books are missing their FormID in Non Automatic, message reads: [02000D64] just copy and paste the line "Player [00000014]" to resolve from one of the other book entries, or you will have issues when trying to overide to your new patch.

Hello again Neo, was wondering if you've seen and considered the mod Immersive Sounds ( Aural Assortment ) - only touches 2 Dwemer sounds from AOS, brings a nice overhaul to the mostly repetitive generic sounds, vid from Brodual is available on the mods page itself. I'm gonna give it try though. -

Heyja Neo, thought I'd let you know: aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Weapons\textures\weapons\iron. The Iron Quiver .dds and .ndds are missing the iron prefix (are named just quiver) so will not get used. Rename with the prefix iron. Also only missing iron texture is the shortsword. Dropped a short line on the Nexus about this as well. -
Crafting Overhaul - this mod got a green light from Kryptopyr to incroporate the Weapon & Armor Fixes & Clothing and Clutter Fixes. I looked for a thread by Statmonster here on STEP ( thought I seen him as a STEP member ) because he already asked some questions... Could not find it, so thought I'd bring this one up, looks interresting to track, I will wait for the single ESP file though.
-
Sure does, thx, wasn't really looking forward to removing the 10.000 conflicting files in the optimized folder structure that are there after installing the STEP adviced mods lol.

Had a quick question which I have been looking for across different threads to see if there was an answer. Hope it is not completely out of place here. If I have read it correctly your VRAM usage is (mostly, or at least in part) targetted by the need to "read/render" any image files (.dds?) My Q: Does this have a cumalative effect on resources (VRAM) being required if your modload-order has a lot of duplicates. For example (much like the Conflicting Graphics bit I suppose) across 5 mods I use/need several textures, in all 5 mods the folder textures/armor/leather is available but I want the textures from the fifth. So this means the texures are read 4 times while not being used ? because the ones from the fifth folder are used. The reason I ask, is that for example the DDSopt optmizing of the Vanilla, DLC and HRDLC bsa's alone is already resulting in well around 2GB of duplicate files. Not a problem since I just merge folders afterwards, but am still curious.Â

Hello Neo, I have a feeling I'm quickly getting up in your "leave me right enough alone already list" :) But it is well intended... I write user documentation at a QA department, so I know the feeling of doing a lot of work and then having to hear you forgot to put one single word in italic lol. Quick recap for today: The Eyes Of Beauty - Elves Edition.esp AFTER TheEyesOfBeauty.esp. is active in Boss Masterlist - So that perhaps could be scratched from the guide. OBIS - Organized Bandits in Skyrim - updated today to 1.6B - TES5 no longer shows any dirty edits. aMidianBorn Book of Silence - armors Instructions contain adding Steel and Wolf Grey Fur textures\armor\steeltextures\armor\wolfWhile overwritten later on with the lose armor edits - aMidianBorn Steel Armor RC4 / aMidianBorn Wolf Armor and Skyforge Weapons. But I have a feeling here that it is just thinking ahead here on your part for when they eventually get added. -

Hello Neo, thank you for the reply, I think I should have written a bit more... I wasn't asking you to consider to add De-Larp :) just wanted to hear your thoughts because I am considering it, I do not want to impose on your work. That said though, I think Boss Masterlist was updated with the The Eyes Of Beauty - Elves Edition.esp AFTER TheEyesOfBeauty.esp. So that perhaps could be scratched from the guide. -

Also had a question, sorry... - I see the Dual Sheath Redux already has a patch available for the De-LARPification Project, any word of advice on whether or not to use De-LARP mod in combination with the SR-LE setup ? -

Hello again, just wanted to let you know Neo, since it has the same version number you probably won't notice in MO, but the author of Improved Closefaced Helmets has added a -- Dragonborn Addon -- 0_9 last month. -

Dear NEO, If and when you have time ( please also let me know if I should post these kind of questions somewhere else ) But I was wondering about the following 2 MODs if they are of interrest to SR-LE. 1. Falskaar - Climates of Tamriel patch. 2. Falskaar - Realistic Needs and Diseases Patch -

Congratulations with your sons birthday NEO, mine just three months :) @ Okward, wow m8, thank you so much for taking the time with the detailed explanation. Confirms for me I was thinking along the correct lines and that I my basic understanding of TES5Edit is not as bad as I thought. But with that explanation I have learned a lot. Thanks again. -

Dear anyone... I was hoping to get a few supportive answers, I am at the Conflict Resolution with TES5Edit part of SR-LE. Now, the parts where Neo uses "Use Record from" I create an overide into the (as per suggestion) SR Conflict Resolution.esp. The question I have though is for the "Use record from... then move" "description" item from bit... As is described at the "Container" part descriptions. Q1: Should this still be an overide into SR Conflict Resolution.esp and then perform the "move", or is this a suggested change that should be performed on that particular cell/container ? Q2: ? What is meant with - Add one to the value in COCT - Count - to clarrify why I'm confused. as an example: The value in Unofficial Patch is 5 - the value in RND = 8 hence why I'm stuck - If it should be performed as an overide into the SR Conflict Resolution.esp the value would be 9. If I perform it on the cell/container itself as a "move" the value will be 6... sincere apologies if it is utterly obvious what Neo is suggesting. -

Hello Neo, I'm sure you'd notice sometime sooner or later, but thought I'd mention it anyway. Part - Clutter and Misc - 1st mod - Animated Clutter - states: meshes/dungeons/ship/shiplarge*.dds (= *.nif) if I'm not mistaken. -

Hello, my first post in the forums - I followed all the intructions concerning "Optimizing the Bethesda Textures" but after that used a Compare folder/files program (due to all the conflicts shown by MM) and merged all Optimized folder into a single package (since it only concerns textures) merging them in the same order as the loadorder provided by SR-LE. This saves about 2,5GB of unnecessary files (approx. 12.000 files) that would overwrite themselves because of the mod loadorder of the optimized files. Zipped this is still 3GB. worth of files. I don't know the filesize upload limit on the Nexus. But... if possible I could upload this package... sorry to come out of the blue here. And thank you Neo and STEP for all I have learned thanks to your efforts.
