  1. after some time testing I came to this stability for skyrim with full STEP 2.2.2. Its all 2K even shadows uGrids=5, and i rarely i mean rarely freez its not even crash, skyrim just freezes, i dunno if its to much OC or its just Skyrim, i dunno it just freezes very rarely lol. Edit: also those drops in FPS are due to riding horse running freely, when fps are stable @ 58 im in a fight most likely. My little example has more than 4000 samples ingame riding freely in skyrim from riften to whiterun, with fights all the way and it did not crash nor freezed. Re Edit: yet another long time play no crashes no freezes. IMHO best skyrim is a Skyrim that doesnt crash, its not about grids, cells or the highest textures available, IMO its about playing it with out problems. Im getting close to a stable Skyrim. Over 6000 samples.
  2. After you launch skyrim alt tab, go taskmanager and look for TESV.exe in processes tab, right click it and set priority to high. Desktop composition disabling. go steam and look for skyrim folder, find TESV.exe, right click and go properties, select compatibility tab and check boxes [v]Disable visual themes  and  [v]Disable desktop composition if its already running as admin keep it, if not, is your choice to run it as admin or not.
  3. thats great your welcome im happy to help:cool:
  4. your having to many unnecessary problems, check all permissions from all application if their all running as admin, and to finish your little nightmare about bashed patch you dont realy need it and im sorry i even brought it up to the thread. my intention was only for you to understand more about wrye and its bashed patch, but its not being worth.
  5. also could be priority in system, some other processes could be wasting processing power. try use skyrim in high priority process, and ofc im sure you have disabled Desktop composition.
  6. ohh thx I couldnt imagine that cause wrye never did that to me. thx!
  7. Im trying to post something useful to help you, all I can think of is system degrading over time, or the access to files on the hdd being very slow. Try do some ram sweep, defrag and clean temp files... cant think anything else to cause your lag or stutter.
  8. thats great:thumbsup: im using uGrids=5 in a new play thru shadows 2k water 2k (with all settings on:) "under test" and Ill probably lower them to 1k) and havent had a crash yet you should maybe leave some resources to unexpected events like a Dragon spawn or multiple hostile NPC spawn, this way your sure you will not crash suddenly or not so frequently.
  9. from a quick observation your setting for uGridstoLoad=5 doesnt match with the other settings for cells. is this intentional? altering uGrids is highly unstable, if you plan to test settings its alright, but for a long term play its not recommended(Doesnt matter what kind of system you have it just isnt stable in modded skyrim).
  10. Is MO and Skyrim running as admin? If it is RadeonPro also needs to run as admin. I dont think it matters to RadeonPro what launches Skyrim and you dont need any triggers also, I think your problem with RadeonPro is permissions try running it as Admin. As soon Skyrim Launches RadeonPro detects it and enables its profile. OK good you extracted SMAA properly . Just a Friendly advice: Delete the file Injector.ini from your harddisk where you extracted SweetFX asap, and look for it inside the original downloaded zipped file and delete it too.(thats the file being scanned for Ban) (Delete Skyrim profile in CCC if you have any to prevent any conflict), RadeonPro has very good options better than CCC. just dont activate Antialiasing Compatibility profiles in RP, they conflict with SKSE and who knows what else.
  11. I will help you with this issue you have but give me some time, cause I dont have MO installed. Im curious about where you installed SMAA. Why am I curious because if you happened to read my post about it and it was to extract SweetFX in some random place and NOT inside any of your games it was meant to protect you. why?? because SweetFX has a file that is directly BANNABLE by every 3rd party AntiCheat Networks for online games. using sweetfx the way i recommend is the best way, and it will protect you from AC networks. RadeonPro has integration with sweetfx and it will inject it in its render process.
  12. yes it is. I suggest Option (A) Automatic uninstallation every time you want to update your drivers.
  13. yes viking thx. Its just I thought that memory could maybe be handled by a lists of pointers, all variables just pointing to new index, with control on INIs to limit their ceiling, maybe im wrong or maybe it wouldnt be so fast.
  14. yes. but test if SMAA is really working ingame without you having to add it as proxy in ENB
  15. sorry but how about your Drivers? Catalyst 13.2 Beta 7, Atiman Uninstaller 7.0.2 (used to thoroughly clean out Catalyst drivers - highly recommended) (Source Overclock.net) RadeonPro  Not for the faint heart If you wanna know what's coming up to next version while it's being developed, try the Preview build with upcoming features and bug fixes, but with new bugs as a bonus maybe. Download it here (Source Guru3d)
  16. best choice would be 7990 or 690.
  17. he is already using SMAA injected by RadeonPro, adding ENB and using SMAA in a proxy it will overload his GPU. I think best is for textures 1024x1024 lower shadow detail and some view distances. you can try 6950 and flash it to 6970 OC and you get stable 45 FPS with SMAA most text @ 2kor try 7850. I still suggest 6950 flashed to 6970, very cheap.
  18. Glad you clear it out:thumbsup:, but as I misinterpreted the results other users will also thats why i comment on the results.
  19. I stand corrected and yes it only affects dots per inch.
  20. if you say so, and thats a matter of opinion cause i say 7970 is one of the best out there. not even gonna talk about 7990... (you resolution is to high for your card. 63"...)I stand corrected and yes it only affects dots per inch. but you know better for your system and im sorry if my words made you uncomfortable they were not meant to do it. my intention is not to spread any erroneous information about your system capabilities and your skyrim capabilities.
  21. Besidilo Techpowerup review is comparing a card of 1000Euros with a card of 370Euros... i dont think its logic. imho and by that price i rather use CFX 2x 7970 than 1 titan and I still keep some extra euros. and again... results by Tom's Hardware is comparing a 690 with 2 builtin chips with a 7970 with a single chip... is this even fair? or are they mocking Nvidia? I have 2 7970 and to OC them is just a walk in the park, they are very stable and with RadeonPro I can push them even better with all new options japamd added to the new preview.
  22. for better performance related to your resolution and your GFX I suggest you revert uGrid to 5(STEP does not suggest you to use uGrid @ 7). you need to find balance between your system and skyrim. have you checked this thread i mentioned before?
  23. what im trying to understand is why isnt skyrim able to request multiple address spaces? integer data type is -2,147,483,648 through 2,147,483,647. why cant skyrim dynamically point to new memory addresses.
  24. you cant tweak it, its protected in different levels of security even in the kernel it self. Its possible, but drivers and OS memory managers built for 32 bit direct memory access would have to be rebuild. Quote: When working with physical memory addresses, even 32-bit device drivers need to do 64-bit arithmetic.
