LOOT & xEdit Not Pathing to STEP List
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's question in Other Utilities Support
Yeah, that did not work either. I think it is the instructions for pathing is confusing. I know you all did make some consistency corrections when I first started following the guide, too. I will go back and try to understand differently - do not know how yet - and let you know if I find my mistake. Thanks for taking the time. Could it be a Win11 thing? -

LOOT & xEdit Not Pathing to STEP List
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's question in Other Utilities Support
Like this: ? It did not work. It only shows this: . And I did double check that I had the tools in the tools path and I did. Here are my other Paths in case that is where the problem might be: -

LOOT & xEdit Not Pathing to STEP List
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's question in Other Utilities Support
Yes. And, yes. Same result, no change. -
I am at the LOOT running step in STEP and it is only showing the Base, uncleaned masters. I have looked over the instructions again but can not find what I am missing. I have a screen shot of my LOOT setup through mo2:

Unlimited Bookshelves Mod Page L.O. Instructions
Berzerkernox posted a topic in Step Skyrim SE Guide
Do I follow the Load Order instructions on this mod's page or is it handled later on in the STEP Guide? -
In the STEP guide, instructions do not include the hotfix for the updated game. Does this need amending? Thanks.

FEEDBACK "Your user account probably lacks permission"
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's topic in Step Skyrim SE Guide
Ahh, I just figured it out! I have my download folder on an SSD drive and I did not log into first. Sorry to waste your time. -
FEEDBACK "Your user account probably lacks permission"
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's topic in Step Skyrim SE Guide
Neither is set up under UAC, they are both at the root of the same drive. I did set MO2 up according to the guide but the guide does not match the MO2 setup - maybe because of an MO2 update and the guide has not updated accordingly. -
I have a modlist from Wabbajack on my computer. I downloaded a brand new MO2 on my computer as the MO2 in my modlist, through Wabbajack has MO2 contained in its own folder. I was working on the Step list but some of the .dll's needed to get updated so I have been playing the Wabba modlist. When I opened it up after starting the Step build, MO2 asked me to change my file path back to the modlist, which I found worrying. I just tried to open the Step MO2 and got this: Does anyone have any feedback for me? Did I set things up incorrectly? I checked the game path and it is correct per the Step instructions. Thanks.

GUIDE DLL's failed on test launch
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's question in General Skyrim SE Support
That's a relief. I thought I had really screwed things up. Thanks a lot! -
I just tried to run the game after installing extenders and got the following message: A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates. CrashLogger.dll: disabled, only compatible with version earlier than 1.6.629 ScaleformTranslationPP.dll: disabled, only compatible with version earlier than 1.6.629 UniqueMapWeatherFramework.dll: disabled, only compatible with version earlier than 1.6.629 Continuing to load may result in lost save data or other undesired behavior. Exit game? (yes highly suggested)

Guide say change every Frame Limit. Does that include each UIFramerateLimit_____, such as map, Inventory, etc? Thanks.

GUIDE No skse64_steam_loader
Berzerkernox replied to Berzerkernox's question in General Skyrim SE Support
-
I just downloaded the latest skse64 per the guide but there is no steam_loader_.dll in the file to extract to game folder. Is this known? Should the instructions be modified for this new version, if so? If not, was I not supposed to select the manual download for this? Thanks.

I think I have messed up. Should my mods be going in AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Skyrim Special Edition\mods\? Shouldn't this be in my root drive:/Modding/Mod Organizer with everything else? Thanks.
-
Thanks for the clarification and action taken to remedy inconsistency. It is much appreciated.
-
Thanks. Well, after doing that, scrolling down after the Tools section of the guide, I saw this, so there is definitely some contradiction: The "Modding" folder structure should now reflect: ..\Games\Modding\Mod Organizer ..\Games\Modding\GameName ..\Games\Modding\Tools ..\Games\Modding\Tools\BethINI ..\Games\Modding\Tools\LOOT ..\Games\Modding\Tools\xEdit ..\Games\Modding\Tools\xLODGen
-
Yes. Those are the instructions I was looking at. The folder address says tools folder but the instructions above that say Modding folder, yet, MO2 instructions referred to under that says Modding folder.
-
I am trying to install MO2 via the STEP guide but am confused: do I put the MO2 in Modding or Modding/tools folder? Thanks for all of your work to help us all!

https://controlc.com/b3433c31. I have updated WryeBash to the most recent highly experimental, set my exceptions for xLodGen, TexGen64, and Dyndolod64 but keep getting this error in Dyndolod. I also set this to run on Win8 Compatability. If I have not provided the right log please let me know. Thanks.
