When trying to complete the weather systems merge I ran into a problem with Obsidian weathers vigilant updated patch. It was recently updated to an esm and the old files aren't available on the Nexus. Since Vigilant and Vigilant Voiced are both esp's, it will not let me apply the patch in the merge.

My LOOT group editor doesn't look like the one in the picture. Is this okay? For example: Flora is not blue. There is a link from Early Loaders to Flora. Also, Pre Add-ons and Underrides are not blue. There are links from Early Loaders to both of these groups. I was concerned about creating the groups in the guide until the default looked right. Is there any concern?

Never mind. I finally figured out why it wasn't working. Apparently, you can't capitalize the 'O' in 'optional' when you choose the hide-type.

Yeah, I went through the guide again with the same result, I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing. However, I'm now finished with the entire guide. The game, so far, seems to be performing well, so my manual method was sufficient, just a little frustrating that out of the entire guide, that one tool got the besto of me. I don't like giving up, but I'm ready to play the game, so I'm going to move on. Thanks though. So, I've been modding Skyrim and Skyrim SE for about 6 years now, but never to this level. I'm just concerned about the frequency of updates that happen here. If my game is running well and I'm happy with the setup and the way it looks and performs, how important is it that I update weekly? I'd like to just enjoy playing the game for a while.

Thank you for your timely response. I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm only moving them by hand because the Hide Merge didn't work. I tried to use the tool first, then resorted to the manual method when it didn't give me the option to disable the plugins that way. I am watching PhoenixSun001's videos and my first attempts were to do it exactly as he did it, but my Merge Hide didn't give me the same option, so I reread the guide and it said it could be done manually.

Merge Hide doesn't work for me. When I click on it, it shows that my plugins are already inactive and the disable option is grayed out. I've been moving my plugins by double-clicking and moving them to the options folder. However, I'm getting close to finishing the guide. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling meticulously following the guide.
