There is a popup that appears at the beginning of the game when Midnight Tales initializes (before you get the ring) asking you to choose between No Scaling or Expert/Master/Legendary Difficulty. I don't recall whether it affects the player only or NPC werewolves as well. If player only, then those of us who don't play as werewolves can presumably just set to No Scaling without any problems, but if it affects all werewolves, then some advice on what setting works best with this guide would be helpful in the MCM section.

lol, you might have a point there. What exactly counts as lore-friendly varies from one person to the next anyway. Personally I'm not sure even the supposedly lore-friendly version of SUT actually qualifies. I mean, really, why would all these rare, valuable items be lying about unsecured and in plain sight all over Skyrim just begging to be pinched? But then even vanilla Skyrim has valuable items lying about in plain sight (Yes Lucan Valerius, I'm looking at you. Now that I've gone to the trouble of retrieving that Golden Claw, the least you could do is store it in a locked container rather than just putting it right back on your counter! How about I take it off your hands and store it in my museum?). Anyway, SUT is a great mod. Anything that gives us extra things to go hunt down for the gallery is a good thing in my book. Best not to get too hung up on lore-friendliness.

Seconded. Also, not sure if there are any recommended tweaks to the CLARALUX default settings, but if so this also could be added to the MCM section. There is no MCM menu for CLARALUX, but there is a building added just north of Riverwood where one can go to adjust the settings in-game. Directions for people to find the building, and recommendations of what to adjust would be great (unless of course there are no recommended changes to the default settings).

The screenshots that are in look great. I notice that there are additional changes made that aren't on the lists. For instance, I recall that in iNeed the Hunger, Thirst and Fatigue Rates all default to 4 unless changed. The list does not mention changing these, but your screenshot shows Hunger Rate set at 2, and Thirst Rate set at 3. There are also Eat and Drink/Refill Hotkeys which are not mentioned on the list. Obviously there is a certain amount of flexibility as to how people set up their MCMs, but having the lists different from the screenshots could be confusing.

Screenshots would be good, or even boxes like the ones you use for fomod installers in the main guide. I would ask that any screenshots be in addition to the lists, not instead of. Before I found this guide I was using Ultimate Skyrim for Skyrim LE, which is excellent in many regards, but when it comes to MCM settings uses only a set of Imgur screenshots which are white on black and therefore pretty much impossible to print out. The lists you have here are much better imho - though using both would be ideal.

Might I suggest with the MCM section that you avoid using yellow? It looks fine on screen, but I imagine most of us will be printing the page out so we can refer to it in-game, and the yellow is almost impossible to read on white paper. Even printing in grayscale the text still comes out very faint.

Only issue with multiple subdivisions of the guide on separate pages is that those who use the History page to check what changes have been made since their last installation will likely miss things, since each guide page has its own History page. Might want to add a note either reminding people to check each History page separately, or to update using the Changelog instead. On another note, in case anyone was following my earlier issues with crashes at Skyrim Logo, deleting the game files on Steam and reinstalling them fixed that issue. Game now works, and I can play. Only trouble I'm having now is that a few of my mods don't appear to be working in game. Most obvious example is iNeed. In game I am never hungry, thirsty or tired, and food never spoils. When I click on iNeed in MCM I just get a blank page. Others seem to have minor issues (e.g. can't set Hotkeys for Favourite Groups in SkyUI MCM; a couple of KS Dragon Overhaul's MCM settings don't work after the latest update (v1.6) etc.) but nothing game-breaking.

Alright, so I disabled all mods (nothing checked in left column, no plugins in right other than the five defaults) - still crashing on Skyrim logo. I wondered if I'd messed up the ENB settings somehow, so deleted the ENB files (both binary and Skyrim Re-engaged) - still crashing. I bypassed SKSE by loading from Launcher - same result. Looks like my only option is to do a fresh install of Skyrim SE.

Thanks for the advice guys. @ Battlestar1965: CBP & Papyrus have been updated and Simply Knock removed as per guide updates, so they shouldn't be the problem but I will recheck them. @Alkira: I did check section by section when initially installing this a month ago, but haven't been doing that with the current updates. Seems like the best option for isolating the issue. Looks like while I've been puzzling over this problem I've gotten behind again on new changes, so gonna get myself back up to date again, then if the problem is still there I'll try running with only the first group of mods active and work up from there until the culprit shows itself.

I have just been working my way through all the changes made in the past month or so since I last updated my installation (wow, you've been busy!). Got up to date, loaded up the game... and promptly crashed to desktop shortly after logo appeared. I've redone bashed patch and dyndolod output, updated SKSE and rerun loot, to no avail. MO2 is not complaining of any missing masters or other issues so I am stumped. Anything I should look for in particular that might be causing this?

Thanks. That worked. Turned off DOF in enbseries.ini and the problem stopped. And yes, smOkem, I think you may be right about Shift+F12 turning off my ENB. Having turned off DOF so that I don't have to Shift+F12 anymore, my graphics are way better - nights way darker and colors more vibrant - so I am guessing I've been playing with ENB turned off all this time.

Having a problem where every time I load up Skyrim in an outside cell, or move to an outside cell after loading, all the textures go fuzzy. They are fine for a few seconds, then they start flickering between fuzzy and clear for a few more seconds, but then they invariably settle on fuzzy and stay there. When I say fuzzy I mean just big hexagons of color everywhere - green hexagons where grass ought to be, grey hexagons where buildings ought to be etc. I tried to take a screenshot by pressing F12, and when that didn't work I pressed Shift+F12, which still didn't take a screenshot but did turn out to solve my fuzziness problem - all the textures suddenly revert to normal and remain that way even if I go inside and come outside again. So I can actually get the game to work by simply pressing Shift+F12 when I first enter an outside cell (at least until I log off - when I log back in the problem has returned). The question I have is why this might be happening in the first place. I have all the mods (including optionals) installed as instructed. Since others don't seem to be experiencing this, I'm assuming I've made a mistake in my installation somewhere along the line, but I don't really want to have to start again from scratch if it can be avoided. So any suggestions as to what might be causing it would be welcome.
