I was wondering if I can get some help with MO2, i'm getting this error ""failed to spawn "nvse_loader.exe": failed to start process (The parameter is incorrect. [87])"" every time I try and run any exe from MO2; namely LOOT and NVSE it is strange because before I got this error MO2 was working flawlessly and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary before I got this error other than install a new enb

At the point of installing all the JIP mods such as JIP Companions Command and Control, JIP Improved Recipe Menu, and JIP Selective-Fire based off the Fear and Loathing guide, I get 3 error reports in game that I need to either update or install JIP LN NVSE Plugin for those 3 mods which I did towards the beginning of the guide; I have the version number 53.60 installed (which is the newest version). I even went back and reinstalled JIP LN NVSE Plugin and placed it in the same location in my load order to maybe solve the conflict but still get the same error reports in-game. (I am using MO).

When I came across this section of the guide... "Unofficial Patch Plus Author: PushTheWinButton and othersVersion: v1.38Installation: Install both the main file and the optional file. When installing the optional file, select [Merge], not [Replace].This mod expands on fixes outside the bound of YUP by combining things that can only be fixed with NVSE and functions created for use with NVSE." I am confused what to do as the version has changed and there are multiple optional files that are only for Project Nevada, which the guide hasn't even gotten into talking about installing yet, I obviously feel like I would need that as a prerequisite so should I just install and activate the main file and install the optional files after I install Project Nevada contradictory to what the guide says? (My guess is that the optional file I am suppost to download as stated in the guide is gone now, but may have been merged with the new main file).

Noted, I am mostly adressing the beginning part of the guide (as far as i've gotten so far) as there are about five-ish links that suggest reading guides about each plugin that in some cases are about as long as the fear and loathing guide itself, and the video guides linked, suggesting to watch in total about 10 more playlists of other videos that are up to an hour for some videos; it's very overwhelming so it would be nice if I can skip any redundant or otherwise unnessasary videos; especially since many video links are right next to links seeming to explain the same things early on in the guide.

In the Fear and Loathing guide, are all the video links and webpage text links required to watch and read, or can most/some of them be skipped? It seems like this guide would take weeks to finish and comprehensively understand if I went through it all.

I've had no issues with Norton before so I do doubt that is what's causing the problem (but yeah it is pretty subpar as far as I can tell); my thinking right now is that I should uninstall the game and everything again and this time uninstall steam as well and reinstall all that over and see if that works. I whitelisted the new vegas folder on the AV softwares and it did not work, still the same error.

I have 3 anti-virus softwares I believe; norton, malware bytes, and windows defender, also no I don't use hibernation on my pc, just regular shut downs at the end of the day. I will try and whitelist falloutnv somehow for each and see if it helps at all.

I have checked about 6 steam forums (mostly outdated) for this problem but none of them address a solution to the problem i'm having as far as i've seen; and no, i'm just on regular windows 10.

I moved my mod organizer folder and tools to a folder outside of my game folders and steam folders so thanks for that tip; I reinvalidated my files which I have to do everytime I try and play New Vegas, and New Vegas ONLY (for some reason), but part of the reason why I posted to this forum is because I already have been reinvalidating my files, and now even when I reinvalidate my files on steam and it says "all files are now recovered" I still get the same " Application Load error 5:0000065434" message and the game doesn't start. I also just wanted to state that I have a legitimate legal copy of FNV and all the DLC from steam. In addition I checked to see if my steam was up to date, and running while I tried opening the original FNV.exe and it once again gave me the same load error.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but thats exactly what I did, I installed Mod organizer and put it in a new folder in my New vegas directory without starting it up, but did the first/initial start-up only on its own (FalloutNV.exe) which is why this is so mind boggling to me as to why I get the application load error and can't start up the game.

I did a complete fresh install of FNV in which I have my steam folder/s on my E drive and I cant even start up the game normally through the default .exe; I don't want to proceed with the Fear & Loathing in New Vegas (Fallout NV) guide until I am able to fix this as I don't want to screw anything up, I tried doing an initial start-up right after installing Mod Organizer as the linked video in the guide said it was required to start up the default NV.exe for all the features to load and work; I have also searched this problem online on multiple forums without any soulution to my personal problem. Please help.
