  1. Its for Skyrim that I am doing this for and I used to configure the settings via enblocal.ini however i had to still use am fpslimiter due to my game going up to 65 fps with vsync enabled. Its 60hz display and ive tried turning vsync off while limiting fps to 60 - screentearing is bad with my fps still going up to 64/65. Ive done vsync on with no fps limiter - fps still goes above 60 in most cases and still had screentearing that was horrible. Ive tried limiting fps to 58, 56, and 50. If limited to 58 then fps usually stays at 60 or 58 however recently ive had to put fps limiter at 56/54 due to fps going above 60 and causing physics bugs. All that with vsync enabled in enb and ipresentinterval=1 set via bethini verified its existence many times. I know RP is outdated but its sort of a final attempt to get the screentearing to go away. Its really noticeable and while i have my fps under or at 60 about 95% of the time Im just trying to get the screentearing to stop. Also, ive tried not using enb vsync and forcing it via my drivers but that didnt work out well, it was like there wasnt any vsync at all. Sorry for the horrible formatting, on mobile currently.
  2. Trying to use radeonpro to clamp fps and implement vsync but when ENB is enabled I cant see the main menu. Thoughts??
  3. Ok I have figured it out now. It was such a simple issue, I feel quite stupid for not even thinking of it until now. SO!! To isolate whether it was my installation of Skyrim or if it was a mod in Mod Organizer I ran TexGen.exe outside of MO. It ran correctly, and did not encounter any errors so I stopped the task. I have Optimized Vanilla Textures installed and I had renamed Skyrim - HD01.bsa to Skyrim - Textures.bsa following advice from a post on OVT's comment section to do so if using Mod Organizer. I then downloaded BSA unpacker from the Nexus to view Skyrim - HD01.bsa and come to find out I should NEVER have renamed that file. It does not include all the textures that are in Skyrim - Textures.bsa and I do not know how I missed that before. Thank you for your patience and your advice Sheson, I am now on my way to finally experiencing another one of your wonderful additions to Skyrim. Thank you and be well!
  4. Ok, so been busy with work and stuff but I did delete Skyrim - Textures.bsa from my Data folder and had Steam revalidate files. Re-ran TexGen from MO and ran into the exact same error again...I havent yet had the time to do anything else with my Skyrim due to training a puppy to be quiet at night . Anyways, when I can I am going to find a program to extract the bsa to verify that the stupid dds file is there. My guess is that its still corrupt but it is super weirding me out lol. BTW! yea referencing the wrong guy for youtube.....thats what I get when I post for help tired....lol
  5. I keep getting missing .dds errors when running TexGen for the first time. I am following Gopher's video on youtube, and when I hit start it gives me the following error: textures\landscape\frozenmarshice01.dds not found! Check the top of the log that all required *.BSA files are loaded. Turn off MO archive management. Check that C:\Users[Your Username]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini (MO users check ..\ModOrganizer\profiles\[profile name]\skyrim.ini) is the default version and contains: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa I used BethINI for my INI files, I use MO, I have turned off MO archive management, and I have even re-extracted DynDOLOD folder as shown in the video. I was able to find this file in an archive folder I keep for mods on my desktop, but then I kept getting more .dds missing errors the one after this one is fxwatertile01.dds but I couldnt find it. First time trying to use DynDOLOD and its easy to follow the video but these errors when running TexGen are confusing me. TES5edit_log.txt
