- Added instructions to expand spoilers and mod table rows, as it evidently isn't obvious to people that fail to read (so this addition is likely moot)
Nexus Versioning
- Patch Version 1.2.2 - released in January 2022. Fixes Biped slot entries on "Spice of Life" armors. Adds a mesh fix for NCR Goggles.
- Patch Version 1.2.1 - released in January 2022. Fixes visual gliches on Brahmin corpses.
Those that have installed the mods flagged as "Dropped/Replaced" and have started their playthrough should skip these changes.

What's New
Version 1.2.0 of the official STEP Fallout: New Vegas guide focuses on animations, sounds and weather and lighting effects, made possible thanks to the advancement in scripting.
- 1. Animations: The kNVSE plugin has started a revolution in combat animation; animation packs of dedcated animations for firearms, unarmed and melee weapons were added.
- 2. Weapon and explosion sounds are enhanced with mods that utilize scripts for better compatibility.
- 3. Various lighting fixes, better looking moon at night and dust effects in the distance.
- 4. Mods that "add" content reduced in favour of cut content restoration.

Step Patch - Conflict Resolution The main conflict resolution patch is required for the intended mod build to function properly. Mods on which the CR patch depends are indicated by a vertical green bar to the left of the mod name in ModGroup tables.

- New Vegas Mesh Improvement Mod - NVMIM: a relatively new mod. Fixes almost every mesh in the game and is lihter than Collision Meshes. One day will replace Collision Meshes entirely.
- Fallout 3 Weapons Iron Sight -Modders Resource- V1dot3: required by the next mod on this list.
- Fallout 3 Weapons Restoration: a simple restoration of Fallout 3 weapons to the game. The assets were already present, just unused. Not as ham-fisted as Project Nevada - Equpment Standalone.

- Asterra's Many Fixes: technically moved here from 09 - Fixes late during v. 1.1.0 of the guide, but in case it wasn't noticed. It's fine for this to be overwritten.

- Skinned Mesh Improvement Mod: a realtively new mod, it fixes all (or almost) creature meshes. Fully compatible with Ragdolls, as they modify different meshes.
- Lucky 38 Lights Redone: Overhauls the Lucky 38 building, LOD mesh and lights. Built upon the Lucky 38 E3 Lights Restored used in version 1.1.0 of the guide.
- FNV LOD Supplementation: even more LOD meshes and textures.
- TheFriedTurkey 3 Creature Pack: the securitron meshes and textures look great.
- Cool Dogs: increases the immersion by replacing NCR's mingy mutts with proper dogs. Restores an unused German Shepard model to the game.
- Nut Water Overhaul: better water textures and some additional tweaks.
- George's Dead Money Retexture: retextures almost all of Dead Money.
