Deadly Brawls

For some reason, whenever I start a brawl since reinstalling Skyrim and STEP, it quickly turns into a real fight and I either kill or am killed by my brawl partner.

Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Then, remove Follower Trap Safety, if you use it, and dwnld and use the brawl version of it.

Compiler, should he not use https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24020 instead? It's the updated version of that mod.
