The guide does not tell people to link Merge Plugins Standalone in Mod Organizer.
It might not be a bad idea to move all the merges to the end of the guide, since none of them can be completed using Merge Plugins Standalone until the end. If you try to perform a merge earlier, it will error out on the ones that are missing dependancies.
