Stiff T-posed humanoids everywhere

Hi there.

 

I had a problem with my STEP:Extended+STEP:REGS installation beforehand (it was based on an older 2.2.9 revision and was downloaded as a whole pack, with REGS added later on) and was about to reinstall the game, as such things as fast-travelling (or travelling by any means) to or near Winterhold made my game to CTD in an instant. I thought, "hey, it might be important for me when even the main quest is leading me there". So I decided on a re-install.

 

I have followed every little detail of the installation of the STEP:Extended 2.2.9.1 and STEP:REGS packs (consider it a word-to-word installation with no additional INI-tweaks) and added just a very few mods at the end of the installation (Island Fast Travel, SkyComplete [for every DLC's and mods too], Unread Books Glow, Better Falskaar And Wyrmstooth Map). This installation lets me to go near Winterhold and do anything I desire BUT I have an even more drastical problem now. Every humanoids are completely stiff, they take on a T-pose and do not release it. I thought waiting for 30 days might script-clean my save (I imported it from my previous game and it worked as the mods are almost identical, just 2.2.9 vs 2.2.9.1 differences). It did not work. Tried to sort it all out with LOOT but tried the game beforehand aswell. Nothing. I am using Mod Organizer BTW to maintain my load order and mods safe and separated. 

 

Later on I was lurking the "internets" all over for a solution but did not find anything else than Fores New Idles Skyrim to be the culprit. So I started it up and came with this error message:

I am guessing this is the problem with the animations. I even tried with or without the SKELETON arm fix (just in case) and nothing fixed these messages (without the SKELETON patch I had one more message saying: ">>Warning: Custom skeleton found. Select SKELETON patch.<<"). BTW the other Skyrim - Legendary Edition folder is my older installation. Is there an option to set it to my current one? It might change things or is it totally dead and needs a re-installation? (Which took me almost 2 days with some rest of course.)

 

I am seeking help on this official board because all the people I asked could not help me with it. Thank you in advance for looking into the problem for me!

When using FNIS, anytime a mod is added or changes configuration that uses FNIS you need to run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe. This is described on the FNIS Nexus page and in all the STEP guides that include FNIS.

@Fore, the creator of FNIS, is very particular about where the generator needs to be run from, the log is showing you that it doesn't recognise your game installation as a valid Steam game. While I won't make assertions on the legitimacy of your game copy, it is clear to me the generator is expecting to find a valid copy of Steam and can't.

If you used a hacking method to move your Skyrim install, you may have messed up the registry entries and this will give FNIS the bad info.

Or if you are trying to mash together a XBOX version of the game, as I see one user on the Nexus claiming, this too will confuse the generator.

Either way you will need to ensure the install is a valid one before FNIS will work.

@Kelmych I did run it even after all of the mods, deleted the older overwrite folder and the output files as well, so it is a perfectly good run as far as these things go. Other than that, I am afraid the files I have might be bogus.

 

@GrantSP Thank you for having trust in me as far as legitimacy goes. I will try again with the registry edited, if I find the required keys to be edited. 

 

EDIT: Do you have any direction where should I look into?
