Texture packs, overwrites and loading times

Question

If i have many texture packs (for example Skyrim 2k + Realistic Overhaul + Tamriel Reloaded, etc...) installed through MO, will merging them into a "physical" overwrite folder (as with texture pack combiner) make skyrim load faster?

I was just wondering if it's better to make MO handle overwrites or if i can make skyrim faster by creating some "manual" merged folders.

Thanks

No it won't change anything.

Once you hit "Run" in MO the virtual folder is done and the game doesn't know the difference.

Theoretically you might decrease game startup time if you combined all of the texture mods in the order you want them to overwrite and only include the textures you want from each mod therefore decreasing the size of your MO folder.

Indeed, my bad I thought I read "skyrim saves load faster"... I need less modding and more sleep
