Toosdey
Any time I have to install a mod from the disk this comes up. The tutorial says nothing about it. How do I make this not happen?
0 EssArrBee
You need to right click on the folder that should represent the Data folder and select 'Set data directory'. What's happening is that some mods are packed in a way that mod managers can't install them properly because they can't 'see' Skryim folder structure. 0 Toosdey
What do you do for files like Double cursor Fix where you have files outside of the Data folder to install (It has a SRC folder as well with two plugins). Do those still get installed, because they appear to be removed.
0 EssArrBee
any source files/folders are not needed. Those are provided for mod authors that may need them. Any other files can be drag and dropped into the folder that should be the Data folder. So for DCF you can drag the readme.txt to the Data folder and then set that as the data directory and ignore the source folder.
