Mods version is the date of installation

Hello everybody, Hope this one gets replied too and not like my other post :/

So i installed mods from my disk, which were mods i already downloaded using NMM, Then i used MO to install them in my profile, the thing is all the mods show the date of installtion instead of the version in the "Version" tap. Which makes it harder for me to know if a new update is available.
is there a way to fix this ? other than downloading the mods all over again ?
