Can't drag and drop in left mod pane

Totally bizarre.  Been using MO for quite a while and haven't experienced this before.   I can't drag and drop in the left MOD pane.  I CAN drag and drop in the right pane (esp's) so it's not a mouse issue.  I haven't messed with mods during my current playthru until tonite so I don't know when this could have occurred.  Could something have become corrupt during gameplay ?  I'm using MO v1.2.11.  

 

I also have no groups selected at the bottom.   If I HAVE to upgrade MO (the icon on top right says MO is up to date however) what would be the best way without screwing up my current settings / profiles etc ?   Thanks.

You can't drag an drop if there are any filters on. Check that the Groups dropdown is 'No Groups'

I had the category filter on.  Once I switched to priority I was able to d and d.   Every day something new in this world...
