Enhanced Distant Terrain 2 & Enhanced Distant Terrain 1 ?

I searched with no luck.

 

I am going through STEP CORE installation, and in the early Fixes section, EDT2 is there.  Then later in the landscapes section EHD original version is there.

Trying to figure out why?  These (I thought) do the same thing, and one is a newer version of the mod that replaces the old.

 

Can someone tell me why I should, or if I should, install both as suggested?

They are different. If you go to the conflicts tab with MO you can see all the files that are overwritten and EDT2 doesn't overwrite EDT at all. The author just didn't name things very well. He is a bit crazy though.

I did notice that, then wondered what the point was.  Very confused, thanks for clearing it up.  Does look nice with both running :)
