I want to use STEP and other graphic mods like ENB and I don't know what kind of FPS can i expect, I searched over the internet and evrywhere there are difrent results.I also see alot of problem with never drivers and graphic cards so am very confused if you all could help clear the my head would be very appreciated.Like how is the ENB on both of this graphic cards, and are there any disavanteges. If anyone with on of the mentioned cards could anwser would be awsome. And my 2 choices again gigabyte gtx 770 4gb OC or a r9 290 4gb tri-x OC. Or if you can Recomand any other graphic card in the price range of max 400€ that would be great. My specs are in the link below:https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Minos55/SystemSpecsKind regards Minos55

well the r9 290 will outperform the 770 in nearly every game...the good thing is the r9 290 has a ton of bandwidth which should make the game run smooth with a lot of hd textures

here's a benchmark of their performance in skyrim https://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2014/06/05/sapphire-radeon-r9-290-vapor-x-oc-review/6

when using a enb i dont have a clue of what performance you should have but technically the r9 290 should perform better

there's one thing you should keep in mind: the r9 290 consumes a lot of power so be sure to have a good quality PSU with at least 650w

I have a xfx 850w gold certified PSU so that is not a problem, I am wondering how the ENB is working on a AMD card Cause i read it isn't so goo don a amd card cause of it being developed on a Nvidia card

Running those cards then you can get a highly detailed ENB preset running with very decent (40+) FPS at 1080p without much of an issue. Some ENB´s can still easily cripple them though but that can never entirely be avoided.

As long as you do not force the cards to run at peak levels then they will mostly run cool and not consume super large amounts of power. But overall the AMD cards eat more power so you pay more for the card during its lifetime compared to more energy efficient models. Ofc. depending on how expensive power is where you live. But overall I would always suggest the get the more energy efficient card when you are up in that price range anyways... unless you do not expect the card to last for a long time.
