Green box around mod directory, mods in subfolders

What is this green box and when it was there mods went into subfolders. Can I change it back?

Do you see the dropdown that says Nexus IDs under the mod list? Change that to No Groups and it will go away. Also, if you put it on Categories it will be green to denote that you have it sorted somehow.
