Question

Posted

Hello all,

I am new here, but I got a new problem with Wry bash. At the launch, I get this message :

Wrye Bash could not find a game to manage. Please use -o command line argument to specify the game path

I tried to uninstall/reinstall but nothing.

I also tried to find a file like bash.ini to look inside but I did'nt find it. (I only find bash_default.ini which seems to not be used)

I am just completely reinstalling everything on my pc (Windows 7 64bits, Skyrim, NMM, ...) so i really don't understand why it doesn't work.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I finaly found the solution. For an unknown reason, my pc retourned back like Skyrim was never launched. So I launched Skyrim again and after Wry bash is ok.

Sorry for disturbing :-)

Thanks for telling the solution to "Wrye Bash could not find a game to manage. Please use -o command line argument to specify the game path"

Out of the blue I got this message today, and starting the skyrim launcher from Mod Organizer and clicking "Install", everything was fixed.

The Skyrim Launcher is the key to solving this problem

Wrye Bash trying to find its paths, or LOOT not finding the games paths ..

Just run the Skyrim Launcher once and the registry settings are put back in place.

Steam client is the guilty party, deletes them occasionally

( usually after a verify game cache )
