What is MCM? (Mod Configuration Menu) And how to access it?

Hello everyone :D, I started playing skyrim now. During the instalation of some mods i realized this acronym on detailed instructions: "MCM" that's mentioned a few times. The problem is I do not know if I should install or access it through Mod Organizer. Thanks!

MCM is a part of the SkyUI mod. You can access it ingame by pausing and selecting the Mod config option in the menu.
