Octopuss Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 I don't care for overclocking, so the memory type is not a problem for me.And it performs the same with closed case, too. P.S. VRMs are typically (from what I read over time) rated to survive up to like 125°C, so anything around up to 110 is definitely 100% safe. Of course we don't like those temperatures and try to do anything to cool them down, but in reality it's not needed. It gives a good sense of satisfaction, though.
Spock Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 From what I read the VRM temps are mostly a problem if overclocking because the card will get less stable with higher VRM temps.My replacement card arrived today, it's completely broken (windows only boots in safe mode, bios post shows artifacts if normal boot failed) :( Never was this unlucky with hardware...
